Disney Springs and charging

Can you charge your meals in Disney Springs to your room if staying on site? If so, does this apply to all restaurants there? I should know this answer, but wanted to double check before I buy too many Disney gift cards.

I started to say yes but then upon further reflection I remembered that we were on the Dining Plan on trips where we ate at some of the restaurants in Downtown Disney (aka Disney Springs). I seem to remember a couple of times that we need to charge extra charges like apps or tip to a credit card and not our room. I would follow up with places you are considering to see what their policy is.

We haven’t come across any DS restaurants yet that don’t accept magic bands and we’ve been to a good amount of them both QS and TS. Never say never though!

However Swan & Dolphin, while considered on property, do not have magic band charging privileges and I don’t believe the Good Neighbor Hotels do either.

Everywhere we have gone at DS has taken magic band for charges. Have not heard of any that do not yet.
