Disney Spring hotel / transportation / parking

We are planning to spend one evening at Disney Springs before heading home. On the map, it looks like the two Hiltons are the closest. However, from what I've read in other threads - while Hilton Palace is right across the street, getting to the pedestrian bridge makes it about the same as the other Hilton.

We will have a car. But we are going at Christmas time, so not sure how packed the parking lots at Disney Springs would be.

Just wonder if someone that is more familiar with the area had an opinion. Should we book at one of the Hiltons, leave our car at the hotel & walk to DS? Or is it better to book a cheaper hotel further away, and rely on being able to find parking?

The convenience of staying within walking distance to DS and not having to drive/deal with parking is worth it.. Parking at DS can be an absolute nightmare especially during peak periods like holidays and weekends. Between the two Hiltons, I would recommend Hilton Buena Vista Palace.

Either of those will be an easy walk, easier than looking for a parking spot.

The thing I don't like about Hilton LBV is the rooms are tiny with low ceilings and the end of the bed almost touches the desk and tv counter. This really turned me off to Hilton LBV even though it is much cheaper.

Hilton Palace has tall ceilings and huge rooms.
