Hey :wave2:

I just wondered if anyone could suggest any cheap priced Disney souvenirs they've found at WDW :earsgirl: and is there anything that could be good for scrapbooking? Theres so many disney shops but such little time :guilty: lol

Thanks for the help :goodvibes

scrap booking seems to be everywhere in all of the Disney World stores and in every park. We bought the stickers. :teeth: They were very cute and only $3.00!

At DTD they have a scrapbooking store. It has so many things for scrapbooking, its really neat. And what I like to do for a cheap souviner is get a candy that you can't find anywhere and disney themed. Also there is a store at DTD that is all under ten dollars. Its nice if your on a budget.

Scrapbooking...well, let me tell you. It IS all over -- I actually bought all of my supplies at the gift shop in my hotel. They have great packs that are $15 a piece and they come with stickers, die cuts, paper and layout ideas. They are SOOOO worth it. I bought postcards and used them too.

Cheap souvenirs..depends on who you are buying them for. They have cute suckers, pens, etc. All of which are in your hotel gift shop.

That scrapbooking pack sounds like my kind of thing lol, could you tell me who sells them?

Thanks :goodvibes

Most stores at resorts gift shops have some and DTD has an art store at the end that has everything .At DL in june we picked up a great TINK 50th Scrap book DD has done a little of it but still has alot of work to go.

Well, cheap is about the only way we go for souvenirs ;) but you can actually find several good choices.

We have several traditions--we buy one magnetic photo holder for our fridge and then put a photo of the family from that trip in it. It's cute to see the kids grow from trip to trip, the frame always has either the date or the "theme" for that year so that makes it fun to remember also. And they are around $6.

I know it's a trite type of souvie, but my $8 coffee mug sure does make me smile.

I always choose at least one pair of Mickey earrings. Usually I can find a pair I like from $10-$12. I wear these all the time, and people at work come to check out the new earrings when I get back :earsgirl: In fact, I bought a "regular" pair of earrings not long ago and had someone finally ask me.."But where's the Mickey?" :goodvibes I really like to choose the ones that are a little more sutle so that you can't see the Mickey from 6 feet away.

This past trip I didn't "need" as many earrings so I splurged on a Mickey ring. It was $18 and from a distance just looks like silver swirls. I have really enjoyed wearing it. I just veer away from the areas where they sell the fancy jewelry, because I could see myself getting carried away.

My cute little souvenir from this trip was a little plush Mickey with the magnetic hands and feet. He is small, only cost $5, and is hanging on my cabinet door handle in my office at work. He makes me smile too! :earboy2: (DH at first thought it was silly, but got so attached to it that by the end of the trip, he had gone down to our gift shop and bought himself a Stitch one! :rotfl: )

I did pick up some scrapbooking stuff too this time. Bought a pair of Mickey cut-out shaped scissors that will be fun, and a castle punch.

I also try to get a Christmas ornament each trip. This one is a castle photo frame ornament--$12.

We try to get smaller souvenirs and TRY to not go overboard. I would much rather buy less, and go more often. Let's see...I've been home 14 days now....how long do I have to wait to go back?

You know the yellow bracelets from Lance Armstrong........they had them with Mickey's on them.. I think they were really cheap like $1.

We usually pick up a pin (most are cheap) or two, and my mother always goes NUTS in the DTD scrapbooking store. There is sooo much stuff and most of it is very cheap. We pick up a resort mug from wherever we are staying. Once you get down IN DW you see soo much good stuff that you just HAVE to buy, and we end up getting a TON of stuff like that.

We bought beer coasters in Germany and framed them! They were 50 cents each.

I also scrapbook, and on my last trip bought one of the $15 packs, for the theme parks, I also bought Mickey ear scissors, and some stickers.

I would also say for cheap souviners that smashed pennies are fun. You can have fun looking all over the parks and resorts for the machines, and they sell a little book to hold them all in.

There's sets of pennies, and you can try to find the whole set. For instance, they have special quarters that say Happiest Celebration on Earth on them, and I got ones with Jasmine and Ariel on, then figured out there should be one with each princess on. I found the other four on pure dumb luck. You get the idea.
