This was probably talked about last year. But I drove by the other day and all (or at least a lot of them) the solar panels were out. From the ground, you can't tell if they are in a Mickey shape. Anyone have some pictures?

No pics?? I was wondering what they were building there when they were clearing away so much space. I hadn't read about it before. Now I know. Was just hoping with all these blogs having picture updates someone would have snapped an Ariel (pun intended) photo.

I think that is cool that they put them up. Good talking point for the company, and I am surprised they haven't promoted it more.

I know people working on the project, and the panels in one field are shaped like Mickey. Unfortunately, I can't share any of the pictures

The project is not yet complete, so maybe there will be more public information once it is finished.

The second article mentions that its capacity is 5 MW. For a frame of reference, that's large enough to power 500-1000 average homes and reduce CO2 emissions by 4000-9000 tons per year (depending on the combination of gas and coal generation displaced).

Thanks for the picture! The panels near the top look a little like a waiving hand. Probably unintentional. Mickey's arm isn't that long.

From just eyeing this on Google Earth, it looks like this Mickey is about half the linear size of Mickey's Forest, so about a quarter the area.
