Disney Signature Treats

My new favorite:
*strawberry twist ~or~
*garlic cheese twist
*Boysen apple freeze
These are from Maurice's, near the Fantasy Faire theater.

I also LOVE the little Mickey truffles from the candy shops!

If you've got a flight or long drive ahead of you, I like to buy a salad or soup in a bread bowl from Pacific Wharf in DCA and order the bread bowl on the side. You get the whole bowl, not scooped out, and it's in a plastic bag so you can eat some along with your soup/salad and save the rest for the ride home :)

I haven't seen my absolute favorite mentioned and now I'm scared they don't make them anymore.

I love the dipped handmade marshmallows sold in one of the shops on Buena Vista Street.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know if they still make them or not!

I love the mikey shaped truffles at poohs corner, churros and beignets! They're my personal favorite DL indulgences. I also really love the soft serve ice cream in dca for some reason.

My dd's like dole whips, mikey shaped ice cream on a stick, Ghiradellie sundae, and tigger tails! Poohs corner is one of our favorite places :).

It adds to the fun to hunt down your favorite goodies!

1. Churros
2. Dole Whip
3. Mickey Pretzels
4. English toffee

and the one thing I load my suitcase with for home - Chocolate dipped coconut Mickeys.

So....what are Tigger Tails? And, are all of the corn dogs in DL equally good? Or do I need to make sure I get one from somewhere specific? Thanks!

Tigger Tails are marshmallows, covered in caramel, white chocolate, orange sprinkles and drizzled with chocolate stripes. The are usually only available at Pooh Corner (the candy shop in Critter Country).

So Pooh's corner will be closed during our visit. Where else can we go for dipped marshmallows, fancy candy apples, ect.

We always make a trip to Goofy's candy co. at WDW.

Marceline's Confections in DTD has many of the same things that Pooh's Corner has. I have seen Tigger Tails in there.

lobster nachos sound awesome - where is cove bar? and where are cream cheese pretzels? my kids LOVE preztels ( as do i) and the carmel/kettle corn in dca awesome!!

We LOVE Goofy's Candy Co!!! Do they have one/ something similar in DL? We love creating our own Rice Krispy Treats on the day we leave to eat on the airplane. Any place to do this at Disneyland?

Candy Palace (DL), Trolly Treats (DCA), and Marceline's (DTD) all sell treats. I have not seen Tigger Tails at any of these locations on a regular basis, but they might have them while Poohs Corner is closed. They do often have some other dipped marshmallow treats, along with candy apples, chocolate treats, rice crispie Mickeys, etc.

No, not really in the same way you can at Goofy's Candy Co in WDW. They sell Mickey Rice Crispie treats, but you cannot select which toppings. The closest thing I can think of is the chocolate dipped ice cream bar at Clarabelle's (in DCA).

The things I always look forward to are:

- Churros
- Mickey Bar Ice-Cream
- The ice real lemonade, I had one at Down Town Disney and it was awesome. I think it may not be a big deal to Americans though, but in Australia I don't believe we have lemonade that looks like its made from real lemons :confused3

Things I have heard about and can't wait to try on my next visit are:

- beignets
- Monte Cristo Sandwich
- Mickey Sink (I already have visions of a little plant growing from the sink I take home :goodvibes)

I tried Dole Whips in Hawaii, can't really say I get what the fuss is about, they are nice and refreshing but not something I crave for, maybe too healthy?! :rotfl:
