Disney shuttle from airport?

Okay we were originally planning to rent a car for our trip because we are driving down to San Diego half way through. But we had a change of plans (due to not being able to use our marriott points for our car rental if we return the car at a different location). So now I think we might just try the airport disney shuttle and then just rent a car from Alamo in Downtown Disney the day we leave to go to San Diego. We are staying at the GCH.

Thoughts on the disney shuttle? I see there are 2 of them and not sure which one to pick or if it matters. Would you recommend the shuttle?

My DH just used the one operated by Gray Line this past weekend.
It worked out great. The supper shuttle is good too.

not sure if it matters...i think both are run by grayline. i know when we were there last october, we got the one that was plain white (i was a bit disappointed...i was hoping to ride in the one with the "year of a million dreams painted on it)...but both were the big, grayline buses.

we loved riding the disney shuttle since we didn't have to tote our car seats for our girls (not required on the disney shuttle)...but may be required on the super shuttle (not an issue if you don't have younger kids though)...

We have used super shuttle several times and they have always been fine. Sometimes we have found coupons for them online by doing a search or through mousesavers.com. I am not sure which airport you are flying into, but we found the super shuttle process to be much faster and more organized at John Wayne vs. LAX.

We bought DH's shuttle ticket on line for $15 from LAX to Disneyland hotel.
