It is sometimes called "White Elephant," the game where you take turns opening gifts and then someone can "steal" them.

I’ve never heard it called either of those!! We usually just call it a ‘Grab Bag!’ Dirty Santa sounds more fun, though

"Dirty Santa" is usually a name when there are gag gifts or maybe like some good items and some "Zonks" so the game is pretty cutthroat. I think of White Elephant more as everyone brings a $10 gift to the office and it's all just candles and desk accessories.

Our extended family started “dirty Santa” because at one point all we were doing was exchanging gift cards At Christmas. Now we can go pick out a gift within the price range that has been set, and have fun with it. Buy something cool or buy a “zonks“.

Still have not eaten there!!!! But so long as we’re talking about the picture itself, I am not loving these ears at all! I just feel like there was no effort put into these at all! I’m disappointed.
