Disneyland Rolls Out “Buy Now, Pick Up Later” Merchandise Mobile Ordering at Select Locations

Guests visiting the Disneyland Resort now have the option to purchase merchandise via the Disneyland app and pick up their items at a convenient time after Cast Members have done the shopping for you. The Mobile Order service builds upon the concept of Mobile Order for food by allowing guests to shop and checkout via the Disneyland app and pick up their merchandise without having to wait in line or browse a store for an item. Here’s the description of the service from Disneyland:

Make a purchase using mobile order through the Disneyland app for select items and have your merchandise waiting for you to pick up at any of these 3 locations:

• Left of City Hall – Main Street U.S.A., Disneyland Park
• Elias & Co. – Disney California Adventure Park
• World of Disney – Downtown Disney District

In order to access Merchandise Mobile Ordering, you can search for “mobile order service” in the Disneyland app. Here are the steps once you’ve reached the Mobile Order Service page (note that it is different than the food & drink Mobile Order functionality). Merchandise Mobile Order Service is also different than Mobile Checkout, which allows guests to simply check out once they have completed their in-person shopping. Here are the steps once you’ve reached the “Buy Now, Pick Up Later with Mobile Order Service” page in the Disneyland app:

1. Select a pick-up location above and choose your pick-up arrival window. Both a valid park admission and park reservation for the same day and the same park are required for park entry to pick up your order from a park location.
2. Browse the list of merchandise and add the items you’d like to purchase to your cart.
3. After you’ve reviewed your details, pay for your order using a Disney Gift Card, Disney Rewards Redemption Card, Apple Pay or a stored payment method.
4. You’ll receive a notification from the Disneyland app when your order is ready for you. Once within your arrival time, let us know you’re on your way by tapping the “Prepare My Order” button in the Disneyland app.
   Mobile order for merchandise is available for select items at participating locations—now testing for a limited time.

Discounts
Eligible discounts will be applied for the following:

• Disney Visa Cardmembers
• Disneyland Resort Magic Key Holders
• Disney Vacation Club Members

A Disney account is required.
