I'm afraid this will sound dumb or judgmental (I don't want it to be the latter - perfectly fine with the former). I don't get the collectible keys thing. Does anyone have a good display of them? Is it just about getting them all (other than the Stitch Crashes set, I didn't notice there being a particular scope). And I last hit WDW after pins and vinylmations - is this just the new(est) thing? I've seen one or two that look cool - but I find myself wondering at the Disney Mover Insiders posters (why wouldn't I want a print of a key that kind of relates to the movie - like, I get it but it's also not quite the normal movie poster) and then some recent entry on DisneyFoodBlog. Help a brother out?

Disney Store keys have been around for over a decade so not really new. They used to just be given out to those who opened Imagination stores and some stores had exclusive keys (NYC, Harrods, Paris). There's also CM exclusive keys. They started doing special giveaways for them (like Mickey's 90th birthday in 2018 with only 90 per store). It's gotten a little out of control the past year and a half, though, with the releases.

The original "Vine Key" that was only given in limited locations I've seen go for over $1k. But prices are dropping as people stop collecting because of the mass releases Disney is doing.

This made me look it up to see if there was one for Encanto (of course there is). Before I saw it, I had completely written the movie off (which, honestly, I did with Frozen, too - at first I thought who wants to watch a dumb movie about a snowman and a reindeer and from then first moment, I was 100% hooked - so, I'm glad I was dragged to see Frozen, even as the person who dragged me couldn't ended up not caring for it 😁 ). But after having seen it (Encanto), I'm blown away by the message, the art, and the music (and the message and the message and the message, again!). I joked with friends that this image had become my life.

This also makes me realize I'm probably missing out on a TON of good titles (I haven't seen Hercules, Mulan, the Emperor's ..., and a few others that came after the Renaissance and before Lilo and Stitch). Anyone got any that they'd really, really suggest? (More than anything, I'm just not a fan of movies - the attention it takes is something I rarely think I have but then I'll watch them and often be pleasantly surprised)

Did you see Coco yet?!? I didn’t think I’d like it at all… I’m more of a Princess/sappy love movie kinda girl. I figured a male lead movie wouldn’t interest me… but I LOVED it. My kids and I watched it 3 times in one weekend (after watching for the first time.) I loved the music and the relationship between the characters!! Another movie that I saw and didn’t expect to like was Cruella… same thing, watched it multiple times after seeing it the first time! I LOVED her character. I LOVED the music. SO good. The three titles you mentioned, I’ve seen, but wasn’t into them. Hope you find others that interest you!

Agree completely with both of these!

NEED!! Anyone know if this brand runs large or small??
I am a 6’ tall woman and weigh around 160, and I wear an XL shirt in Her Universe, but I need the sleeve length. I could wear a L if the sleeves and overall length stayed the same. I have an XXL sweatshirt (I really wanted it and the only sizes left were XXL and XS), and it is laughably large - but super-comfy!

Personally I use them as ornaments for my xmas tree! I only get the free ones + 2-3 of my favorite movies so it's been a pretty inexpensive collection. I've also seen some pretty nice displays ppl make for their walls and stuff.
