Hello All!
I wanted to purchase my honey bunny (DH) a Disney World shirt, but FOR SOME REASON - DISNEY DOES NOT make clothes that are no larger than a 3X. I wonder why. :guilty: :confused3 MY DH is a big muscular guy. He is always mistaken for some football player when we go out. LOL

I WISH DISNEY WOULD BE MORE GENEROUS WITH THEIR SIZES FOR THE BIG GUYS or GIRLS.

Anyone else ever wondered that.....

I have. I'm a big guy too. I've found a bunch of Disney shirts (new) on eBay though, all the way to 5X.

You can also get them through www.zazzle.com 's new Disney store. They custom print shirts and some of their styles go that big too.

Hope that helps,

They really need to get more Pooh and Baloo size clothing because I would buy a lot of it.

We were at Disney in 2003 and I searched for a way to give the Mouse my money but it was not to be...

I bought a t-shirt for myself that was a 3x but it was tight on the hips and loose on the body...Made for men I guess.

Can't beleive that DISNEY is missing the boat with us larger folks because they even have stuff for pets... :confused3

Try calling the Disney Merchandising telephone # (cannot remember it right now...sorry :confused3 ). Anyway, I recently ordered a shirt I forgot to get while at WDW from them...In my chat with the CM on the phone, she mentioned they do have alot available now for sizes up to 5X. Just passing on a tidbit of info. for you! Good luck! :wave2:

Anyone else notice their 2x's seemed to have gotten smaller too?

Disney 2x t-shirts and sweatshirts always fit me comfortably, but the ones I got on my last trip are a bit tight --- and before anyone posts it, NO, it isn't because I've gotten bigger! :rotfl: -- Older Disney 2X's I have still fit me the same, but newer ones don't fit as well.

Yes. I brought home a 2 X Micket T Shirt for my Dad, thinking it would be fine and the 2 X did not fit!

Some of the clothing is definitely getting smaller! But I think all of the sizing is off......When I bought a Mickey ladies polo shirt for myself, I needed a small. I am 5' 8, and 140 pounds. I never wear a small.

Definitely try that clothing on before you buy it! :sunny:

Yep - and it goes both ways. I'm 5' 1" and 105 lbs and it's almost impossible to find stuff that actually fits. The little baby doll cut stuff is too tight, but everything else is too big. Kids sizes aren't cut the same and a lot of the same styles aren't available either. If you're larger or smaller than average, there just isn't anything out there.

I bought a 4X or 5x t-shirt for my sister to use as a nightshirt in the big shop near the front of Epcot (for the life of me I can't remeber the name of the shop)

That's Mouse Gear! I love that store! :teeth:

Mouse Gear!! That's it! It was driving me crazy because I couldn't remember. Thanks!

My boyfriend has the same exact problem. He wears a 3X and is 6'3"! We searched high and low and finally found a very plain t-shirt at the Emporium in MK.

we just got back in June and we found 5x in Mousegears in Epcot. Two different shirts, three different colors -white, grey, & royal blue. Its hard on someone when they can't even get a tshirt on vacation. My DH was glad to have found the shirts on our next to last day too. :Pinkbounc

The kiosk on the 4th floor of the Contemporary always has 4X tshirts. My dad is a big guy. I also see the larger sizes at the Disney outlet at Belz.

The phone number for WDW merch is: 407-363-6200, When I was a CM in merch, 2 years ago, we carried shirts through 5x. If you find a shirt you like, but the store you are at doesn't have your size, ask a CM to call the merch number to find one for you (merch can see all inventory on WDW property). If the CM can't/won't help you can call WDW merch yourself if you have a description/sku number of the item you want...sku numbers are on the tags....

Hope this helps :)

The CM's at the different parks, and resort stores have always been helpful. I have found that the larger stores in the parks and the world of disney at DTD usually carry a 4x here and there, but the CM's have been able to call and get larger. They prob have them, but not enough to put out at all the parks/stores. A "new" 3x is tight on my hips and bust, but loose everywhere else-- so check the cuts on the shirts before you buy. :confused3

I will check that site out now! :earsgirl:

Even 3x are hard to find. Hubby wears a 3x because he is tall and has really broad shoulders. So hard to find him something that he likes and will fit.

Thanks! We will be at the Contermporary this winter! I searched high and low for a shirt for a gift last trip and couldn't find anything larger than 2X. I will check out this kiosk next trip! :cool1:

I agree!!! ::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes::

I just went to our local salvation army and searched the kid section desperate to find t's for my next trip (this was back in November) and the kiddie T's of course weren't exactly what I'd call a purrrfect fit, but they fit nonetheless lol

So basically like you said...
