Since Cinderella III was just released on DVD, I decided to rate each of the sequels on a five-star system. What does everyone else think of these?

Beauty and the Beast II - Enchanted Christmas - 3/5
Beauty and the Beast III - Belle's Magical World - 1/5
Aladdin II - Return of Jafar - 2/5
Aladdin III - King of Thieves - 3.5/5
Lion King II - Simba's Pride - 4/5
Lion King 1 1/2 - 3/5
Pocahontas II - Journey to a New World - 2.5/5
Hunchback of Notre Dame II - 2.5/5

Note - This is just comparing the sequels to one another, not comparing them to the originals. That's a whole other level. It just wouldn't be fair to compare them to the originals, they wouldn't have a chance. Anything I've rated a 4 or 5 is worth seeing, 3 is worth seeing if you liked the original, 2 if you loved the original, 1 is a waste of animation.

Thanks! DD and I were just talking yesterday that we haven't seen Brother Bear II or Fox and the Hound II yet, and that maybe we should go rent them this weekend along with Cinderella 3. We both commented that we usually haven't liked the sequels, so we wondered if it was worth it. We tend to buy the originals and rent the sequels, but will go purchase it if we really like it after renting. That's how we ended up with Bambi II.

101 Dalmations II - Patch's Adventure - 4/5
Tarzan II - 4/5
Kronk's New Groove - 4/5
Stitch - The Movie - 3/5
Lilo & Stitch II - Stitch Has a Glitch - 4/5

And personally I would have given 5/5's to the two Lion King's, Mulan, and King of Thieves sequels.

As far as sequels go I like the ones where they actualy have a whole movie with one story. I don't really like the ones where they just put a bunch of smaller stories together. Has any one seen Fox and the Hound 2. I haven't but I can't figure out where in the world it fits into the first movie. So if you have seen it does it fit in the time line of the first movie or did they just make a sequel with out giving it a single thought?
