Storytime...

This morning, me and my mom left for work at 6AM. It was still mostly dark outside, no cars on the road. I felt this weird vibe coming from the air, it was the same kind of vibe I get as I'm driving to the airport to leave for Disney. Then, we stopped at this minimarket, to get drinks, and it smelled just like MCO. I freaked. I couldn't stop thinking about it. I couldn't control my emotions, I was all over the place.

I've been having these kind of things a lot lately. Just something simple will trigger my Disney emotions. For example...

Every night for the past week, right before I go to bed, I think about Disney. This feeling overwhelmes me. The feeling is.."OHMYGOD I'M AT DISNEY WORLD" You all know that feeling. This happens every night, I feel like as if, tomorrow I'll be leaving for Disney, but when in reality I don't leave for another 5 weeks.

I swear by the time I get to WDW the "OHMYGOD I'M AT DISNEY" emotion is going to be ran out.

Also, I have this need to pack my things. I have this need to go through all our Disney trip stuff, and put it in the luggage. I have this need, to pack my clothes.

For the past week, I've felt like tomorrow, I'm going to Disney World.

Discuss...this topic. I don't even know what it is.

I get like that too. :)

I love it when you go under the Arch that says Welcome to WDW (or whatever it says) thats when it hits me "I'm in WDW"

I get the exact same way when I know I will be going to Disney.

Now whenever I smell something that reminds me of Disney I start to get all excited.

<333

I love the feeling.

You will want to strangle me when I call you freaking out.

Can you imagine, me calling you when I arrive, seriously flipping out.

Awwww I can't wait.

If I could have gotten away with it, I would have packed for Disney the day I was told (well, that was before our last trip).

Anyhoo, like you said, driving on the road early in the morning reminds me of driving to the airport. Especially when it's cold out, and I'm in shorts. My first trip to Disney, I insisted on wearing shorts first thing, even though it was like 6 degrees out (Celsius).

I know, whenever I go out in the early morning, it reminds me of driving to Disney.

Then the minimarket just topped it off.

Starting to pack a week in advance is reminding me of Disney. I mean the last time we freaked out about getting everything in the car was Disney.
Sadly this time, it's just my brother going off to university.

Also, using the little shampoos at hotels reminds me of Disney, when I rely solely on their products to keep me clean.

=] Yes.

I want to pack so badly. I actually I feel the need to pack, not want.

Packing is just so.. necessary.
I also enjoy making lists.
And discussing things to no end.

Haha Jenny, you told me that today :)

I think disney has "smells" That I recognize places. Like at this one burger place.

I smell random things that remind me of Disney.
For example, today I was practicing with the marching band. We were in our "bubble" gym (don't ask). It smelled like Test Track.

my school sometimes has this damp smell which reminds me of OKW. Then the teachers use these board wipes which smell like the orange grove in Soarin'. The strangest thing is the new cinema in Lakeside has a corridor that smells like your walking down to get onto the plane then when your in the cinema it smells like the plane. The last time we went i started feeling around for the seatbelts like i was actually on the plane.

There is this place in walmart, next to layaway, that smells JUST LIKE the AKL lobby. Needless to say I stood there for like five minutes breathing deeply. ;)

I totally know what you're talking about. I get sporadic occurrences of Disney Senses. And also when the weather is really nice like it's partly cloudy and like 70ish degrees my mom and I say it's a Disney day and that we should hop on a plane and go down to Florida.

This sense is just like how people can smell Summer and rain. I can't wait to go down. Less than 2 months for me!

Im going to disneyland in 2 days for the first time and i am flippin out tooo

Like when my dad told me that the plan was to go to disney the first 2 days than go on a 4 day cruise to mexico and when we get back to la we go hit knotts berry farm and than we take some studio tour the next day and head back home

Im so excited about disney though

I dont know what im going to do when i get there! Probably take a long hard look at everything and just breathe it in. and just be totally out of it. My knees are shakeing just thinkin about disneyland

I have been to disneyworld before but i was 4 and it was right after my grandpa died so people werent to excited...and my dad spun the tea cup ride too hard.. but thats not saying i dont like wdw because i do infact i dont even really remember anything anymore except the teacups and the dumbo ride and how badly i wanted to ride the pink dumbo one...

I hope Disneyland is as great as everyone says it is!

Jenny you are NOT alone!!!

I've been having some major type of withdrawl symptoms for the past 2 months.

Yesterday I sat around ALL day listening to Disney Magic on Live365.
ANd when the monorail announcement thing came on, I literally came this close to bursting into tears!!!

I also torture myself by reading trip reports and YOMD stories!! ACK!

And I went to the Rainforest Cafe in Toronto a few weeks ago...and boy was THAT a bad idea, it made me go CRAZY!!! I felt like I was in WDW for SURE.

THere are completely RANDOM smells that will trigger WDW in my head (like musty water, or certain A/C systems, or the smell of some stores)

immaaa goin mentaaaaal. :scared:

I don't freak out too much, because once you go every month the disney magic starts to wear off. =[

I know exactly how you feel!

I keep thinking that I'm leaving in like 2 days when really its 8.

Sometimes my school smells like the monorail.

I always smell Disney things, like at least once a day. A lot of times my bed smells like CBR.

Oh and the Rainforest Cafe in the Burlington Mall. Need I say more? I always feel like I'm in Disney there.
