Disney Scene It game

My family - all 21 years old + - LOVES this game! it's easy enough that the kids can play, but still fun for everyone. It's at a skill level where the rest of my family actually has a chance of beating me! (Unlike Disney trivia). I highly recommend it.

My kids got this last Christmas from Grandma and they love it. It is a great family game to play. I agree with a previous poster though, there are some old clips on there that even DH and I don't know. We have fun though! My girls are 9 and 6.

Thank you everyone for all of your enthusiastic replies. I was hesitant to buy the game because I did not know much about it, but I am definately going to go and get it today.
Thank you also to snugglepeas for the suggestion of buying at Kohl's and using the extra 15% off. I have one of these coupons and did not even think about using it for that. I am going to call and make sure they have some in stock before I go.

I saw a new version - we have the old. The new one has additional cd's with it. I wish I had purchased it so I could get the extra cd's. My family loves it I have 2 dd ages 8 & 12 (Miss know it all - she usually wins) and DS 5 and my dh and myself. Sometimes we really get loud and have alot of fun with it. Definetly worth the money.

I was actually debating on whether to purchase Disney Scene it or Scene it Jr. Any thoughts? :

Some of it is just pure observational skills though. You dont' even have to KNOW the movie. They show a clip of a movie and then ask a somewhat obscure question about it (like "how many buttons were on the woman's robes")

So it's not a total loss if you don't happen to know that movie.

You are right Ohio Minnie....the only time my kids are quiet are during the my play and all play so they can concentrate!!

Can someone who has this game possibly let me know if the clips are closed-captioned or not? The easy way to find out would be to just turn the captions "on" thru the tv menu, or possibly see if there is a menu on the game itself to turn them on. I am looking & looking & cannot find out this info online at all.

I'd really appreciate it!

I went and got one today at Wal-Mart for $26. Kohl's didnt have any in. How many discs do yo get in the new one? I think this one just has one!

Our family loves this game! And many ages can play it from kids to adults which is nice.

Hi welovedis

My husband and I were trying to figure out if we could turn on the closed-captioned but we couldn't figure it out! We lost the directions booklet the game came with so we couldn't search that either. I'm sorry I wasn't able to help, hopefully someone else will have more information. This really is a wonderful family game!
