Does anyone have this? I see the recomended age is 6 and up. I was wondering what you thought. DD is 4 (5 in the spring) and I was thinking of getting this for Christmas for a family game night game. She knows more about Disney movies than I do! Do you think it would be okay, or will it be too hard for her? Thanks!!!!

I played it once. It has some older movies in it I hadn't seen...like Aristocats, but other than the fact she might not have been exposed to some of the movies, I definitely think the level of the questions is fine for a 4-year-old. I think it would be a great family time activity!

Hi,
We have this game and we love it. My girls (8 and 6) recieved this last year as a Christmas present. We play it at least one a week. My girls like board games and this one is one of their favorites. My youngest was 5 when she started playing and she is better than her dad. However, some of the questions and clips are from older Disney movies. We watched those older Disney movies on our Friday night movie night. The game has cards for children and adults. I hope this helps.

DD (7) got this game for christmas last year when she was six. She Absolutely LOVES this game and can wax her mom's butt!!!!!! The only difficulty is reading the question cards, but we usually have someone help her with this. I think your family would love this game.

Good luck!!!! :)

:thumbsup2 Thanks for the replies! We'd be playing DD4/Daddy vs. Mommy/DS2, so reading the cards won't be a problem. We own almost every Disney movie and DD knows them much better than I do. It sounds like she'll love this game.

My kids (10, 8, 3) got this for Christmas last year and love it. I think it would be fine for your daughter. If some of the questions are too hard, you can always do teams. My 3yo can even answer some of the easier questions. I would definitely recommend it for families that are Disney movie fans. :thumbsup2

We play it often with our neighbors. My DS has been "playing" with us since he was about 3 and LOVES it.

We have it and love it. Some of the older movies stump DS - go back as far as Apple Dumpling Gang, for example, but we love it!!

My DH won the Deluxe edition from a radio station. It comes with two DVD's, one is for younger children as the questions are read out loud. It also came with kid friendly questions and harder questions for the adults. It comes in a beautiful tin with 2 extra playing men. My dd 5 loves it, it also has a feature where, the children can just have the questions on the DVD read to them and they are given a time limit to answer them without having to use the board game part. It is well worth the extra money to buy the deluxe edition.

My dd (11) has this game. To be honest I forget how long she's had it for. For the questions about movies we know she hasnt seen, we just ask another one. We always play the kid verison of cards. :)

I have both the regular edition and the deluxe edition along w/ the extended dvd's love it! Plus the extended DVD's keep it updated

The game is a big hit in our house.... DH and I play with DS (12) and DD (4). :thumbsup2

My kids love this game...but we've played it so much I think we've seen all the scenes and tend to get repeats. Is there a place where I can buy a new dvd to go with the game??

"King of Games" here... we've had this for two years and we all love it. The kids (6,10,12) all make a big deal out of it IF they can whip my butt. But we all know, there's no beating the "King of Games".

We got it last Christmas and the whole family enjoys it! We highly recommend it. We're looking at the Nickelodeon and Harry Potter versions this year :)

We got it last Christmas and it's our favorite game! Santa will be bringing the expansion pack with the newer movies on it this year.

BTW, we bought Disney Trivial Pursuit and many of those questions are way too hard, even for Disney Freaks like us. It's the game that comes in a red box, not the older trivia game in a tin, which is relatively easy.

:) my dd ( 3) Loves to play it! we just picked up a new dvd at toys r us with new scenes! she loves to guess the dumbo clips lol!

I'm interested in getting this for our boys for Christmas, but I'm a little confused as to which one to get. There seems to be 3 different choices...a board game, and 2 DVD versions. Can someone help?

Hi!!
I got the game last year for Christmas and for about the first 10 games we played my DSis4 at the time won. It seems age appropriate for four and above, so I don't see why you shouldn't buy it.
