Anyone know how I can arrange something, (paid for). I want to surpise my DD for when we arrive with some gifts in the room.

i've used disneyflorist.com

they were excellent!!

if you go to their website, you'll see the variety of gifts they offer.

they actually created two gifts to my exact specifications...

each one had a character stuffed animal (a particular one for each girl - their favorite characters), together with a specificied assortment of chips and sweets in the nice cooler bag they offer, plus an assortment of soft drinks....and with a helium baloon attached to each (again the characters i specified).

and a card signed by Mickey of course...though you can sign it if you want...but i wanted it to be from mickey..

by the way, i called them - using the website pictures as a guide for what i ordered over the phone..

the woman who took my order was very sweet...

i am going to use disneyflorist, I want a cuddly toy, autograph book & pen with a card from Minnie. The balloons look really lovely however expensive for something that will never be able to leave the studio.

that sounds lovely!
i wasn't with them - my daughter was 23 at the time and was traveling with one of her girlfriends...
i really wanted to start off their holiday with a big surprise - plus it was my daughter's birthday...
and i wanted to treat them to some snack foods and drinks (they were at pop century)....

i should point out that the gifts were not in the room when they arrived....
they checked into their room, then headed off to the Magic Kingdom..

when they returned, the gifts were waiting for them in their room..

actually, at first it gave them a fright as in the dark, the two balloons looked like people...
but they were so happy....and i was so happy they were happy...
it was almost like being there with them..
especially since i had planned their entire trip for them...including which park every day and which restaurant and making their ADRs for them (they were on free dining)..

anyway....it was a success....

i've heard good things about the other service that was mentioned...
however, she didn't offer food - which i really wanted to include with the gift...

The Balloons looks fantastic however can't have Balloons anyway as we are staying at AKV. I forgot we can't have balloons there so will stick with a plush, autograph book etc. Thinking of getting some sweets etc included too.

would make sure they put them in right room as we got someone ellces surprise last year

I have gone with Betsy as it was easier to get what I wanted. Only a small gift, autograph book, pen and a pin however DD will love it.

I'm going to use Betsy too Claire for May.

I want to do a basket as a surprise for my parents and brother, I can't decide what to put into it yet for them though :)

I have just got an email with a picture of the gift basket she has made already, she was so quick:). It's looks really lovely. I only have a small budget to spend on it and even with just a few items it looks really good. DD will love getting a brithday present at the hotel.

Sounds great and super quick! :) I'm going to contact her at the end of March, will have to keep looking what I want to put in it. I'm sure your DD will be made up with her little surprise! :goodvibes

yes, Betsy's very good - i didn't use her, because she's not permitted to include food items with her gifts and that was something i wanted to include for my daughter (since i wasn't going to be there)...

Another vote for Betsy, used a beautiful box but just added what we asked for. We had autograph book and pen, plush toy, pressed penny book and personalised mickey ears for each child and Betsy was even able to put a roll of pennies and a roll of quarters in each box to start each child's pressed penny collection.

She emailed pictures of the boxes to us before we arrived.

The only negative is that the parcels are delivered just after you check in and I believe if you use Disney Florist they can put them in your room prior to arrival.

I don't think Disney florist do as you don't get allocated a room till you arrive.

What a lovely idea! I'm sure that your DD will love the surprise! :goodvibes

Not long to go now!

correct - disney florist doesn't either, as they don't know what room you have until you check in....

the only reason to use the disney florist is if you want food included in your gift basket...
