I am like most of you and have a ton of Disney items. Some are collectible, but some are just anything Disney. My wife and I have so many items and we are such Disney nuts that we want to make a Disney room. That way, when we miss Disney we can jsut walk in our room. Have any of you done this or have any ideas? We are going to take one of our bedrooms and change the floors, walls, ceilings, etc. and totally make it a Disney room.

It all starts so innocently. One little room, this all you want. And then it grows and grows. I now have two complete Disney houses - one house was not enough. I have a Condomickium in Maryland, and Mickey Manor in Florida - yes I have even named them.

I have to agree - I have enough to fill 2 homes but have yet to be able to afford another. I have been trying to quit the habit of purchasing Disney items but have not succeeded.

Good luck with your decorating and we would love to see some pictures when you're done.

My girlfriend & I recently moved into our new home and since we met 25 years ago while working at Disney, we decided we should devote a room to the place.

We decided to stick only with theme park things that meant something to us and our respective careers there. My Imagineering hard hat, her bat hat from the Mansion, stuff like that. Fortunately, we each had a ton of mementos from the years, and didn't have to buy any more. Big items and small are scattered around the room, giving it sort of a "Comedy Warehouse" feel.

Our most prized items come from Epcot: when we were 25 years younger, she and I attended the Epcot Center employee preview together, and while searching through our respective collections recently, found that we had each saved our admission ticket (which was the old mag-stripe experiment that didn't last much past opening). We now have them framed with other period items from Epcot Center.
