Has anyone done Disney with an Aircast? Did they allow you to ride all the rides/rollercoasters, etc...? What limitations did you have relative to any rides?

My DD has had an aircast since November and will have one for some time yet and we are considering a mental health vacation and want to make sure she'll be able to ride the rides.

Thank you!

I used an aircast on my ankle and never had a problem with rides. I have seen many people with different types of braces, cast, ect and I have never seen anyone not let on a ride just because of it ( unless of course it is one of those deals where a persons arm is held out or they cant bent there leg to get inside of some of the cars).

Thank you so much - funny I've been there so many times and never really paid attention to it. The mental health piece of the vacation would be missing if she couldn't do the rides.

The only restrictions on riding would be if there is potential injury to other Guests or damage to the equipment.

Disney will not stop someone from potentially injuring themselves, other than by advising not to ride but will not stop anyone. Which is why the signage says people with {x, y, or z} should not ride this attrasction.

You may want to ask the doctor if there are any restrictions. Since it's been on since Nov and will be on some time yet, you don't want to risk putting any healing already done in jeopardy.
