Disney Rides, please read!!!!

I love RnRC. It's my favorite ride at all of WDW. My coaster-shy GF did it twice on our last trip and loved it. She did Big Thunder first, then Space Mountain, then graduated to RnRC. It's in the dark, over quickly, and jut plain FUN, FUN, FUN! :D

Don't miss Test Track either.

chika, i know where your coming from! i used to be terrified of roller coasters...until i went on one!:Pinkbounc now im addicted, they only look intimidating! I think the "scariest" part of RnRC is the initial take off but if you can handle the ToT then this will be a piece of cake!!! Plus who doesnt love to hear aerosmith blaring in your ears while riding a roller coaster?:hyper:

I can relate to your fear! For years I was terrified of roller coasters that went upside down.

The first time I tried to rie RnC I hyperventilated so badly I almost fainted. I used the chicken exit. The second time I actually got on the ride and squeezed my friend's hand so hard that she still has marks....LOL only kiding, but I was scared and she knew it. That time I rode in the back where you can feel the whip. I also rode the entire ride with my eyes closed..but I did it. I SWORE I would ever do it again.

then, one morning on our next trip I woke up and said I wanted to try again. This time we were deated in the middle of the car and it wasn't so bad. Now it has become one of my favorite rides at WDW. Overcoming your fear of this ride can be done. I am living proof.

RnR is so fast and so smooth - a lot of fun. Once you ride it once, you'll want to do it again!!!

RNRC is my favorite ride. I got my 50 something year old mother to go on it 2 years ago. She was scared but handled it well. It did give her a headache though. They say if you sit in the front it doesn't seam so fast. So you might want to try that. As for space mountain, I find that ride to be much more bumpy and jerky of a ride. Sometimes it hurts my neck. RNRC is a lot faster but much more smooth. IMO RNRC is the best ride at WDW. GOOD LUCK!!! I hope you enjoy the ride as much as the rest of us.

My oldest daughter (16)is absolutly afraid of all roller coaster including splash mountain. When we went for our trip last year to disney we were trying to encourage her to give rock n roller coaster a try, she must of ask every castmember there what the ride was like and they all give her great encouragement. We went to rock n roller coaster and she got to the limo to hop in and i was already in with the bar down and she just couldn't bring herself to get into the limo. Finally after talking to her (and a good looking boy behind her in line) she hopped in with tears and all. Well needless to say she absolutly love the ride when it was over and wanted to ride it again.

My DD(6 years old) absolutely loves this ride...we do it at least three times in a day (between ToT!!). The first time we rode, we didn't even know we had gone upside down! With Aerosmith tunes blastin in your ear, you're just havin' fun and not realizing all the twists and turns. My only advise is to ask (and they will let you) to ride in the middle or front. The back seems to have a lot more side to side action and my little DD's head (and mine, too) got banged around a bit. Try it once, it's not gonna kill ya, and you may end up with a new, all time favorite ride!!

My 63 year old self took my 6 year old grandson and it's now our favorite ride. I like it much better than any of the other coasters (except Splash Mountain, which isn't really a coaster) because it's not jerky and doesn't have any bit dips. It's just a "whee" type of ride.

Sorry! I didn't realize most people think of it as darling, on the three other boards I post on its always been dear... works either way! still a term of endearment =)

RIDE THE COASTER! You'll love it! And be sure to come back and tell us how much it rocked ;)

has to be the smoothest rollercoaster ever.
