Disney Rides / Attractions 2" letter swap active Complete

Thanks everyone!

I have a question about labeling the 2 inch letters, I have each letter for a group bagged in a sandwich bag with a label on the bag, those bags are then in a quart sized bag with a label. Do I need to label each letter? I know every hostess has their own requirements and I really want to do this right.
I know I am making this more difficult than it needs to be, but I can't get my brain to work.:upsidedow

Ummm...are each of the letters bagged individually? If so, then you could label them so that everyone knows who made them. If not, I will just swap them and they will go in as the whole word.

You will want each of the letters for one group bagged per person- you will have a much easier time swapping them out so if I have letters A, B, and C for group 1(with 4 members) I would put 1 of each letter in a baggy(4 baggies) and label that with my name and the group and then put each of those into a quart size bag(1 per group) and label that with my name and the group- this is the easiest way to have them set for easy sorting for the hostess. Just giving my thoughts . . .

okay I'm confused now....the first post says to put all the same letters for the group into one bag....that's what I did for all of my 2" letters...do I need to go back and put them into individual baggies now????

I think Erin only asked for them to be put into big bags put it will be infinately easier for her to swap out if the letters for each person are in individual bags- that is why I quoted her and let her know how she would prefer to recieve them. I just know that from hostessing before and Erin has not yet had to deal with these letters as a hostess. Let jher know what she wants I just know from hostessing and from others experiences that they had problems when the letters were all bagged together with letters sticking and sometimes items falling off the letter while they were swappping and so it was easier for the hostess to have each persons letters bagged together rather than sorting them from 1 bag which is something we did when we started doing the small letters to save on packing space and using bags.

Sorry for the delay guys!!

I did put it in the instructions that all the "like" letters could be bagged together. So, if that's how you mail them, I will work with it. But, as Rebecca said, the others that have hosted with these noted it was easier to swap it out when they were individually bagged. So, I do not want to make anyone that has already done their bagging to do it over. But, anyone that has not bagged yet, and could do it individually would be a help. I honestly was not thinking and sort-of copy and pasted Traci's info from the Lands letter swap. I don't want to make anyone re-do any bagging, but will take any future assistance! :thumbsup2 Sound fair?

Oh gosh maybe I am dense this morning -- say I have 3 letters (example ANI) in Animal Kingdom for 5 people , I was bagging all 3 in one baggie then putting the 5 baggies in a bigger baggie.. Is this incorrect?

the way I was reading the above as each of the 3 letters for 5 people in a seperate baggie (A, N, I ) then all 15 baggies in a bigger baggie ??

The way you did it is exactly the way that will make it easiest to swap out.

If it will make sorting easier, I will bag my letters like bigsis did hers.

Cassey

I don't want you to re-bag...however you did it will be fine.

DD has been asking to help with this swap for days, so now I will let her help me bag and tag. I have alot of groups and want to make this as easy on you as possible.

Finally made a start on this swap last night -

4in letter for Pooh (Group D)
P1160467.jpg

S, I, R for Spaceship Earth (Group 22)
need opinions on these - I cant think how to embellish them! The S has holographic paper as the top layer and the R has textured card as the top but I'm a bit stumped now!

Jayne they look great! I wouldn't do anything else to the S. Maybe some stickles to the others or a brad or 2? The I looks like the paper is glitter? Is it?

Checking in with some pictures. I have 6 groups done and paper/ideas for the rest of my groups. Here are the ones I have done:

Group 10 - Pooh

Loving everything that has been posted. Great work.

Great job girls!

Jayne...how about punching or Cricut cutting a few stars with the holographic paper and sticking them on the R? I love that holographic design!

Hanne...Your Toy Story Y is so cute! All of your letters are great, but that is my favorite one!:thumbsup2

Thanks for the ideas! I'll have a play around when I get home!

And good idea about cutting stars! The holographic paper is really pretty - went into the shop and it was onsale! Couldn't resist it!
