Disney rewards points

Anybody know when rewards points are posted to your Disney Visa account? I recently upgraded to the premium card and purchased 2 annual passes for my DH and myself a few weeks ago and still haven't seen any points posted. Do we have to wait until our next billing cycle? I never paid attention before when points were posted but we are going to WDW the end of October and would really like more rewards points to use.

It's a good question, I don't pay much attention to the rewards due to how slowly they seem to increase. I would think after your cycle. I am following along for the answer

I'm obsessed with checking my points so I can answer this.
The points don't show until after your billing cycle. So for example my payment is due on the 23rd. I don't see my new rewards points until either the 25th or 26th usually. Drives me crazy. I thought for sure I saw them on the 24th before but this month was torture. I knew I had made a big purchase and that my rewards would be bigger this month, but I couldn't wait to see if I was moved into the next 100 level. LOL
And the killer is I'm not even using these for this trip. Since they don't expire for 5 years and we have the $$ to pay for this vacation, and even if some horrific thing happened that I can't do another vacation in the next 5 years, I would just move them to a redemption card that no longer expires. And then my next vacation will be close to free if it all works out.

So yup I'm obsessed and watch my online account very closely.
Hope your trip is before you next billing cycle. And even if the points aren't available before this trip, if you got Annual passes, you definitely will have fun paying down your next vacation with the points.
One vacation I had 1000 points to use on my vacation. That was fun. And now I have premiere and can use it towards flights too.
My son's tuition bills helped me with the points. His college doesn't charge a fee for using my visa. That was a huge bonus. But he is done in December.

Thanks for your response. I had a feeling I had to wait until after the billing cycle. I paid my balance before it was due because I knew I would be using the card to order our new annual passes so I don't know when that billing cycle will be. I had already ordered a new Rewards card and was pleasantly surprised to see that there was no expiration date anymore.

No expiration date is good to hear! Never understood why they had one anyways!

Just wanted to comment and say that I'm very glad there is no expiration date for the Disney Dream Reward Dollars once they're transferred to a card! I discovered this when I received my new card in the mail recently. I was wondering if someone on the DIS had mentioned this. :)

Now I don't have to worry about rushing to use up the balance before the end of the year.
