I have a new Disney card and was wondering if you have to use your reward points within a certain amount of time?:confused3

They start to expire in five years. I redeemed all of mine for our April trip this year, and my account says I have some that will expire April 2013. I'm sure we will be back to WDW before then! ;)

You can also use reward dollars for Disney DVDs and movie tickets, almong other things, in case you don't plan a trip within five years.

There is a note on each statement telling when they expire - so that is when you will have to transfer them over to the debit card.

The date is pretty far out. My last statement said "22 Reward dollars to expire on statement date in March 2013".

i think you have a year to use them once you move them to the card.

I think the rewards cards expire in December and are good for at least a year, so you could actually have them on a card for almost two years if you order your card in January. The one I got in March expires 12/2009.

As far as I know they expire in one year once you put them on the card. We put ours on the debit card just before our trip and blow through it with our first visit to The World of Disney store.

I just ordered my rewards card yesterday. We are not going till December, but the guy said that it woud be better to get it now, have it in hand, and then right before we go, call again and have the rest added on. I'm going to have over $250 when we get there!!!!! I'm sure it will be gone by the first day!
