Disney Reward Dollars help

Our family of 7 is headed to MY FAVORITE PLACE ON EARTH this Oct. for youngest son's 6th birthday (Shhh, it's a surprise).
We are staying 10 days. I'm purchasing 3adult APs and 4kids APs with my disney visa and immediately paying it off with savings.
Question: How many points can I expect from the purchase? Is it 1%? Thanks for the help.

Yes it is only 1%.

The normal reward for purchases is 1% back in Disney Rewards Dollar. Every once in a while, they will offer double and triple rewards on Diseystore purchases over a set dollar amount.

Right now, some lucky cardholders are getting double rewards for all monthly purchases that exceed $500. There are others that are getting double rewards for everyday purchases like groceries, gasoline, insurance and cell phone.

Check your current offers to see if you qualify for any of those.

Also, hold off on buying those passes. There may be packages like the rumored "7 for 5" that would be more cost effective than purchasing APs. Codes are rumored to be announced in early May.

Never heard of that before???

We are staying 11nights and plan to return within 365days wouldn't an AP be best bet?

For 3 AP's and 4 kids AP's, I get $2582.64, which would give you $25 back unless you spend another $18, in which case you would get $26 back. (Disney rounds the rewards down to the nearest hundred). I am not one of those lucky people who are getting double rewards right now. I think for regular AP's the break even point is supposed to be 8 days. The 7 for 5 deal is if you pay for 5 nights room and UPH's, you get 2 days free (room and UPH).
