Disney Restaurants & Baby food?

Hi Everyone!

I'm happy to say that we leave in 10 days for our fist trip to WDW with DD!!!!

Of course...I'm also starting to panic! All those last minute details are suddenly starting to pop into my head and overwhelm me!

I'm wondering if the restaurants at Disney will warm up babyfood for me? DD is quite picky and refuses to eat it if its not warm

We were just at a restaurant here in town last night and they refused to warm her food for me, saying it was against their policy

So now, of course, I'm worried that we're going to have the same problem in Disney and well have a very hungry cranky DD on our hands!

Does anyone know if Disney will warm up baby food for you if you ask at sit down restaurants?

I believe most restaurants don't want to microwave baby food b/c of the risk of getting it too hot - you can however either warm it at a child care center yourself I believe (I thinkI remember microwaves there!) or ask for a bowl of hot water and sit the jar in there to warm it up - this works ok, not super fast.

We haven't heated our baby's food for this reason LOL (poor 4th child has no idea that food should be warm! ) But when we've asked to heat bottles or whatever, we were told that b/c of liability issues, they can't microwave it. You never know - you may find a few individuals who will though!

In a pinch, the hot water should work - Hope you have a great trip!

Since you're staying at SSR....


If you're in a one bedroom and have access to a stove I HIGHLY recommend this warmer. It can be used for bottles and for food.

It's a very fast warmer, and is reusable after you boil it down.


Otherwise the baby care centers do have microwaves, you could pop in and warm it up before going for your reservation.

welovewdw: I'm so jealous that your baby will eat the food cold/room temp. DD flat out refuses to eat it unless its warm...and always has. We could never get her to eat it cold!
