Do any of you take your left overs with you after a meal at a Disney Restaurant. I don't mean from a buffet or family style but from an actual restaurant like CRT dinner. All our PS are for the very end of the day so I thought if we had a fridge we could take our leftovers, since DH loves his trips to the Fridge at night.

:cheer2: from what I remember the doggie bags have Pluto on them. I sure do take the leftovers!

Our meals are usually not late in the evening and we've never had a fridge at WDW, but if we were dining late and leaving the park right after dinner, and if we had a fridge, I'd definitely get a doggie bag!

I haven't before because we haven't had anywhere to put them... but we might now that there are fridges in some of the rooms :) The doggie bags sound really cute!

what I dont understand is:
If we get an all you can eat skillet and cant finish the FIRST skillet why we cant take the rest of THAT FIRST skillet in a doggie bag - I mean what are they planning on doing with it? selling it to the next person?

The problem is that a lot of people would order a second skillet with the intention of bagging it up to go, like people would at a buffet if they could take a plate to go.

I understand you say the first skillet - but they do have to have some kind of rule, and if they started bending one rule.. *shrug*

I know what you mean, though - it'll just go in the trash.

And we commonly take food to go, but we don't count since we're locals. :)

When staying in a DVC 1 bedroom, we have taken food back from several restaurants. It's always been in the standard white styrofoam container.

Sure do! Several times I've taken left overs from the Epcot resturaunts when I'm staying at BCV. There's nothing as good as Sticky Toffee pudding from R&C for breakfast!

Hi, we just returned from disney on Sunday (sigh) and yes we did take our left overs from our table service and our counter service meals. We were at the Caribbean Beach and had a fridge. We were also on the meal plan and many times could not finish all our meal especially if we wanted dessert(and we wanted dessert) So we took home portions of meals and extra desserts. After Sci-Fi we had tons of leftovers, next time our adultlet agreed she should share with me, we had leftovers for lunch the next day using those leftovers and some from another meal. So go for it ask for containers, but we never saw goofy doggy bags. Usually they werfe able to get us a disney bag to carry the containers. Enjoy. Eat . Be maerryand enjoy those leftovers :

Someone told be on another board that many of the food courts have microwaves.
I've got no reason not to belive 'em, but does anone know specifically if POR has one

I'll eat leftovers for breakfast

HECK NO!

But only bc I won't even eat leftovers at home, so there's no way I'd eat them on vacation! :goodvibes

Yeah, I know...

I haven't been to their food court in 2 years, but they had one then, near the side entrance, around the corner from the last food stand (I think that was the one that sold Pizza).

That's one of the wondeful things about DVC. With a fridge and microwave in the room last nights leftovers can easily become tomorrow's lunch. :)
