Disney Resort to US

I know I found this in the past, but have not been able to find it now that I need it.

We are flying in and do not plan to rent a car. We would like to go from AKL to Universal Studios one day.

I know in the past I found a thread with some travel options to do this. Anyone done this or have links or suggestions on options? TIA

You can either:
1) Rent a car for the day
2) Take public transit (Lynx) - although it takes about 2 hours one way
3) Call and book a shuttle through Mears - I think it's $18.00/rt per adult. You can check their website for more information: www.mearstransportation.com
4) Call and book a ride through one of the town car services - about $40-50 not including tip
5) Take a taxi

Mears Transportation

If you click on the link and then click on "ticket with transfer" it shows the following:

Transfer Schedule:

To Universal Orlando Resort: This service is available 24-hours a day except between the hours of 10:00am and 3:00pm. Pick-up time will be determined by calling Mears Transportation at least 24-hours in advance to arrange your pick-up time from the hotel.

From Universal Orlando Resort: Pick-up time with Mears can be arranged when making your initial reservation or by calling Mears from the parks a minimum of 90 minutes prior to your desired pick-up time.

Length of Transfer: Varies by hotel; however approximately 30 minutes each way.

Documentation Instructions: You will receive an Electronic transfer coupon with this purchase. You must present a valid photo ID with your transfer coupon at the time of pick-up from your hotel.
