I really like the upgrades! WAY better than what it use to be.... Anyone know when or if they are going to upgrade the ASMovies rooms? I'm thinking the next trip we make for next year might have to be a value resort. We might stay at POP since we've never stayed there before, but my son loves the ASMovies. Wasn't a big fan of the rooms, but if they were to upgrade, I might just give it another shot.:thumbsup2

Wow I wish I could be there for a month - but it will only be 6 days (Nov. 7th through 12th.) I think in my excitedness I typed wrong. (or maybe that was wishful thinking?) :)

...well, that certainly exlains it.....

...I'll definitely take pictures though. We have a 2 bedroom, our first time in a 2-bedroom and I can't wait! DH & I were in a 1-bedroom this past June and fell in love with it. This time it's me and 2 of my girlfriends for a "girls' only weekend"....

...very kewl!:thumbsup2 Someday, I'd like to do a "girls' only" trip too.... *sigh*

I can't swear to it, but I think the standard rooms are the same size as the concierge rooms. I'll be there this December, so I can post those pics when I get back to see how they compare size-wise (I'll be in a standard room this time). To my knowledge, the only difference is the concierge room balconies have a little bit larger area you can see from (they build the walls out a little further on the standard room balconies).

Thanks! I will anxiously await your pictures in December. I am jealous you are going before me...........:rotfl2:

Have fun!!!!!

PS Btw, LOVE this thread! Makes me want to go once a month to make sure I go to all the resorts! :thumbsup2 Although I think that would be a lot to ask, with the kids in school and the flight from California. One day I may win the lotto and then I plan to stay one week in each resort!!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

To my knowledge, they haven't announced plans to renovate All Star Movies. They have finished Music and are currently working on Sports, but I don't know if they will do Movies next or not. Maybe because it's newer then the other All Stars, they will wait a while. I wish they wouldn't, because I think the new rooms look much nicer, but who knows. Pop Century is a great value resort--it's definitely my favorite of the values for sure. So if they don't renovated Movies, I would go with Pop Century. :)

Can someone tell me that has been following this thread recall if there are any new pictures of the Swan since the upgrade? Particularly the executive 2 bedroom suite. I got to page 40 but it seems there are several sets of pictures posted over and over again, so it's become quite long.

Any direction appreciated.

Just back from a wonderful 20th anniversary trip! We stayed at POR and BC and got upgraded at both!

At POR, we requested a King bed. We got a quiet pool-view, CORNER room with a King-bed in Acadian House. (Room 8267) It was lovely:

At BC, we reserved a standard room and requested a King bed. We got a full lake view, corner room! (Room 3565) It didn't have a full balcony, but I managed to sit out there with the desk chair anyway!

How wonderful, I can't wait until we go down in May. I'm glad you had a wonderful anniv. trip. We have a few more years to go (10), but here's to hoping we go down there on our 20th.
