Very nice- is there pulic/guest access to the roof of WL or were you up there for a special reason?

Probably been done before (and even by me because I accidently posted this on the parks picture thread first ) but this is the Contemporary as seen from the WL rooftop.

I don't know... I took over 700 pictures last trip. It was hard to pick out just one! My family had a blast at Pop. Our fav. will be be our home again this fall! Can't wait!

I do but it is not as close up as this I don't think. I will check for it after DS's field trip today. Awesome thing about that roof is you can see EVERYTHING. We even saw down town Orlando (at least I am assuming it was DT Orlando). We have the GF too I will try to post that as well.

We were the Flag Family for the day. If you stay at WL you can request to be the Flag Family. They chose one per day and you can't ask for it until you check in. They have five flags that you get to carry up. You take an Elevator to the concierge floor and then walk up some scary (and I only say that because you can look down to the huge lobby far below and I am afraid of heights) stairs until you reach a door and then keep clibing stairs until you are outside and then you climb some more steps. The WL courtyard is amazing from up there as well. If any of you get the chance to stay at WL go to guest services as soon as you check in and ask to be Flag Family. DH said it was worth waking up early just for the view.

It was taken in October. Thankfully that horrid crane is gone now. I can't wait to get some pictures without it in September.

It must have been when they removing all that gold stuff from the 50th Celebration.... huh?
I know it wasn't there in Nov and hadn't seen it in any recent photos either.
I know how disappointing it can be to get there and see something like that!
Don't remember what year.... but we went when they had that wall up around the Partners statue while they were removing the curb around the hub. And another time when they had those awful stage lights set up for some press event!!

Awesome of you!! I was going to suggest using Photoshop to get rid of it. Then I go down a bit further and see your post! That's definitely the Dis spirit!
