I'm going to weigh in on the "controversy" about posting on the Resorts Board...as I see it, now we have TWO places to post (and look at) resort pics (and whatever else we're interested in). The more the merrier, IMO.

I want to publicly apologize to Kimmar. I was one of the people who sent her a PM about FlowersChild. Now she is being blamed for what others are thinking, but are afraid to post. She suggested I contact a Moderator, which I did not.

I just want to say that I feel uncomfortable with some of FC's posts. There I said it!

I have been on these boards for years and have never felt this way.

Apparently, many of you are on two different 'sides of the coin' on this issue. And, NO, Ronald Duck, I am NOT getting grossed out, weirded by, or uncomfortable with your pic, which is MY POINT EXACTLY! Your photo portrays the 'essence' of what a quote/unquote "resort photo" should be, or as I interpret what the person who started this thread intended this thread should be. Clearly your pic illustrates the wonderful WL lobby at Christmas; most other pictures do the same. The fact that people may or may NOT be included in the shot is irrelevant. What the objectionable DISers have a problem with is that FC is really the focus of virtually EVERY pic that he has posted - NOT ANY PARTICULAR RESORT! In fact, I'll wager that, unless he specifically states that resort, the actual resort is almost unidentifiable by many of the subscribers.

All I am suggesting is, not necessarily to STOP posting his pix, but to find a suitable forum.....perhaps, a "Character'n'ME" thread....

All Kimmar067 and many others are saying as well as myself is that we love these threads. However, seeing FC in photo after photo with the same characters over and over giving gifts to them is enough! A 'character N me' thread as posted prior might be a good place for him. It's just weird!

I just don't get a lot of you. If you don't want to see certain pictures, you don't have to look at them. You can use the ignore button. There are some resort pictures I'm not particularly interested in so I just pass them by. I'm sorry but some of this seems really mean spirited. I mean have you really looked at FC's pictures? Why get so up in arms if this makes him happy?

I went to the wdwinfo photopost link and it asked me to sign on. Do you use the same user name and password as we do when posting here or do you need another user name and password to access the photo site on the DIS?

I just got back yesterday from The House of Mouse. I'm just catching up on my diz boards. Reading this part of the thread about Flowerschild, he really seems to enjoy his meetings with the characters, I sadly don't have the patients to wait for a pict with a character lol. I did think of him Sunday when we ate at CRT and Perla and Suzy were there lol I really don't think that anyone has been nasty to him or about him (unless I missed a specific post) I feel sorry for him because reading his post it's obvious that a post upset him (I don't think that these boards were created to make people feel bad). I think the point of the posting was there is a better place to make his postings. I wouldn't think to post any of my Disney dining picts or my park picts here, it's not the forum. I just hope the moderators don't close down the thread. Here's getting back to the thread at hand, I'll have plenty of WL picts to post over the next few weeks!

Yes and on other boards including the Community Boards.

I enjoy looking at most of the resort pictures. Please stop worrying about what someone's pictures and let the rest of us enjoy this thread. Look at what you find enjoyable and pass the ones you don't like.

I just registered today but have been reading posts for some time. I really enjoy the pictures of the resorts but when I tried to post one, the system came back with an error that stated "DIS requires a minimum number of posts before allowing the posting of URL's." Does anyone know who many that is or maybe I'm doing something wrong.
