Wow, great pictures- what a lot of beautiful resorts!
Now a dumb question:
When staying at a Disney resort such as the All stars, can we go to other
resorts just to look around?
Kinda like touring all the theme hotels in Vegas?
Would you just take the bus from one resort to another?

Yes Brooks, you can look at any resort you want. Many of them are really nice to look at and some have great dining that you can enjoy also. So, you can visit before or after eating as well (if you choose to dine at a resort restaurant). Also some have nice shopping as well. Feel free to pm me with questions anytime.

You can resort hop to look around or to try out the different restaurants. The busses do not run between resorts though. You would need to go to one of the parks to catch the bus for that resort. Depending on where you are and where you are going, you could use the monorail or a boat.

We really enjoyed visiting other resorts the last time we were at WDW!

This may have changed, buy we were able to show our parking pass for the resort where we were staying and just took our rental car. If you are renting a car anyway, it is much easier than taking the buses since you'd have to go back to a park to get a bus back to your home resort. We would just tell the attendant at the gate that we either shopping, eating, or looking around and they would let us through. I'm not sure if they take licence plate numbers to make sure people aren't, for example, parking at the Contempory and then walking to MK. This is frowned upon and unfair to the guests that are staying that the resort.

Hey I resemble that remark on all counts we always return with our mugs and we pool hop mind you as DVC members it is a perk for us to be able to use all teh resort pools on property other than SAB and Uzima over at AKL.

You just want an excuse to get in the cage. . Sorry, cage is only for poolhoppers that are not supposed to be there.
