I have several questions and was wondering if anyone can help out with the following:

We are hoping to stay at Santa fe hotel 27th Nov for 4 nights.

What are the park opening times at this time of year?

Is there a christmas parade etc?

Is it really expensive to eat at the resturants?

Is there any shops where you can by a few items like milk, snacks etc.?

The santa fe doesn't have a pool but are you allowed to use the other hotel ones?

How easy is it to get to paris to see the tower, does fare cost much?

Is the sealife place worth a visit or not?

I love Disneyworld, am i going to like disney paris or be disappointed?

The parks tend to open 10am to 6/7pm maybe longer at the weekends.

There is usually a Christmas parade.

There are restaurants/cafes catering all budgets but if the Euro continues the way it is, it is likely to be dearer. An option is to purchase half board vouchers which you pay for in £'s which could mean saving. People have eaten at restaurants at Val d'Europe & found them to be cheaper. This website gives you an idea of what the resort restaurants cost http://www.dlpfoodguide.com/index.php

You can't use other hotel pools due to insurance reasons.

You can buy snacks at the shell garage or the train station if the hotel don't stock what you require.

It is relatively easy to go to Paris not sure of the cost though as its been a while.

If you go not expecting/comparing it to be like Disneyworld then you should enjoy it. Many on this board have been to both & like both.

I know someone else can answer these better but I'll give some a bash!

What are the park opening times at this time of year?

I don't know if the extra hours will be on after September or not yet. In Oct when I was there the times were 10-7 (8-7 with the extra magic hours). I've read it can sometimes be 10-6.

Is there a christmas parade etc?

I read there's a bit tacked on to the main parade in previous years where you can see Santa. Not sure what's happening this year yet.

Is it really expensive to eat at the resturants?

Yes LOL It depends on your budget as to the best places to eat. Character meals can be more pricey, we liked Annettes Diner as an average type place. The cheapest in the area I believe might be McDonalds. The restaurants help make the holiday though. We plan on saving extra to get a character meal one evening.

Is there any shops where you can by a few items like milk, snacks etc.?

When I was in Cheyenne I noticed a fridge in the gift shop with some milk cartons and (crappy looking) sandwiches plus there's the usual gift shop chocolate. Oh and there were crisps. We drove so had lots of room for cereal bars etc.

The santa fe doesn't have a pool but are you allowed to use the other hotel ones?

I don't think so :confused3 We were too busy in the parks or sleeping to use one :)

How easy is it to get to paris to see the tower, does fare cost much?

The train station is right by the park entrances and think it costs a few euros each to travel into Paris.

Is the sealife place worth a visit or not?

No, skip it. We read it wasn't very good, there are better centres here in the UK. Much rather spend our time at the parks.

I love Disneyworld, am i going to like disney paris or be disappointed?

Sorry haven't been! The place is still magical though if you love Disney.

Hope that helps a tiny bit!

Fare in March was 12.60 euros return - half price for children aged 4 to 11.

There are other options available that allow use of metro etc in the day if you want to travel around once in Paris

The Sealife place was quite small and IMO a waste of money. We were in and out in about half an hour (and that was because we went round it twice lol). We went there a couple of years ago and the ones here in the UK are much bigger.

Thanks everyone for your replies it really helps, i have just about 20 minutes ago booked our disney paris trip going on the 27th Nov and returning on 1st December. We booked through Disney direct which was very easy to do and a lot cheaper than all the travel agents have quoted us.

A am so excited , lol

I hope to be there on 28th Nov with my hubby so if you see a gothy looking couple if might be us!

IIs it really expensive to eat at the resturants?
I think all your questions have been answered. But wanted to add have a look at the restaurant faq. You'll find many reviwers also give the prices they paid :)

Hi answers to a couple of your questions we stayed in the Santa Fe a coupke of weeks ago.

>Is it really expensive to eat at the resturants?
We bought Half Board vouchers which gave us a big saving.

>Is there any shops where you can by a few items like milk, snacks etc.?
Right next to the Santa Fe is a petrol station that has a mini supermarket in it. Really good value - example is a bottle of coke was 2.60 in the park, vending machines etc but in the petrol station was 1.80.

Hope this helps - Julie x

Or if you're in the parks and find that you want to buy bottled water/snacks (although there are water fountains in the park), there's a little shop right next to the main DLP train station as well.

I'm just back from a trip to Paris/ DLRP on the 2nd to the 6th of June and the train fair from the centre of paris (St Michelle Notre Damme or Chatelet Les Halles) to Marne La Vallee is 6 euros 30 each way.
If you have at least four people try buying a Carnet of 10 tickets and splitting it, it could make the trip a bit more cost effective.
