My family and I are preparing to visit Disney in the middle of October. It is our annual trip that we take each year since we no longer live in California. Each year when we visit we stay at the Grand Californian Resort. WHen we make our reservations we have always gotten meal vouchers that they offer for character meals/dining. This time though I was wondering how good of a deal are they? I know the great incentive is it covers your meal, drink (non alcoholic), tax and gratituity, but does it really save you money in the end? I was hoping one of your Disney Guru's might have some helpful insight to see how much money saving these really are.

Thanks in advance!

I bought some for a character meal that we will be going to. I like the fact that I can just hand the voucher over, I budgeted it into my trip when I booked it, and I don't have to worry about an extra expense at the end of the trip.

It can actually cost you money. The vouchers have a top value (either $32 or $39.) The premium vouchers are break even. The regular vouchers ($32) cost you if you use them for Minnie's for breakfast ($23). If you have a Disney ViSA or an AP, they all cost you money as you lose the discount you would get on the meal.
