Sorry...don't agree. For this trip (my 28th) we decided to use a very well known Disney
travel agency (name to remain withheld) to watch for discounts and get them applied since we were out of the country for quite a while on vacation and wouldn't be in a position to watch for the codes ourselves. Long story short- I got home, got online, and noticed AP rates had come out while we were gone. I had to call them and ask them to get on the phone and make the changes since they didn't do it while we were away. Luckily, room category still had availability so it worked out. Then, a couple of weeks later had to tweak something else- and it took them 72 hours to get back to me. The room categories for a given discount don't last forever- so at that point I called Disney, and fortunately the room type was available for the discount we wanted, so I rebooked the reservation so I had access and control- and had the TA cancel the one they had made. Bottom line is if you want something done right- do it yourself. I will never use a TA ever again after this experience. I had to do all the work anyways, so what was the point.
