Hi. This is my first post sorry if I do it wrong. I am a lurker and decided to join the board.

DH and I are taking my DB,DSIL, and DN to Disney for 4 days. I am having a hard time figuring out if we should do the dining plan or not. We have a kitchen in the room. So the other meals would be in the room or CS. Please feel free to critique away. I have no idea if these are suitable for kids or not.

Planet Hollywood 5/30 @ 11:45
Teppan Edo 5/31 @ 9:20
The Plaza 6/1 @ 8:25
Tutto Italia @ 8:20
Kona@8:00

That would mean he'd be an adult on the DDP.

Did you book a pkg with Disney? If so you will get a $15 voucher for Planet Hollywood.

We haven't booked a pkg deal at the moment. I don't know if it would be worth the money or not. We're military so we are using military discount for the room and tickets.

I say go for the DDP. Just for the convenience and the fact that then you can eat breakfast in your room since you will have a kitchen, grab a Counter-service lunch, and do a Table-service dinner using the ADR's you have already booked. You will also have a snack each day, which can be used on such things as popcorn and ice cream, etc. Have a great trip! :)

We were thinking of going ahead and doing the DDP. Just didn't know if it would be worth it. They eat very little during the day but alot at night. DH and I on the other hand were on the DXDDP in Jan and found it not to be enough food.

oops I didn't think either that DN could be nephew, only niece came to mind LOL

If DN is not a big eater, the DDP might not be worth for you as he would be paying for an adult plan. You would have to do a little math to figure if it would be worth it for the group in general.

I think he will like
Planet Hollywood
Teppan Edo
The Plaza

Are you planing any character meals for him?

I haven't been to Tutto Italia and Kona. Can't help you with that.

Thank you all. We have decided to change Tutto Italia and Kona. Due to menu changes. Any suggestions would be helpful we would prefer to stay close to the parks? That we are in at the time.
