Disney Rep just told me you cannot modify ANY FP+ made on a Kiosk via AP

I have read a few people say if you are staying onsite you do not have to use the Kiosk to book the 4th FP+ and then others say that's not right. I asked a Disney Rep and she said all guests had to use the Kiosk for the 4th. I then asked, but then I can modify it using MDE on my phone? She said no, I would have to return to the Kiosk to modify the 4th FP+.

I've never done FP+ so any clarification is appreciated.

Unwise to ask "a Disney Rep" (especially on the phone) anything about park operations.

1. That's not been COMPLETELY true during this past month, or so.
There is/has been a "special test" during these recent few weeks (Spring Break/Easter)
where some guests (depending upon WHEN they booked their FP+) have been given the opportunity to book FOUR advance FP+.
But, it will return to the regular situation
(4th FP+ must be booked at a Kiosk) later this month.

ANOTHER exception to this is that some report that their WDW Resort Concierge can
book a 4th FP+ for them.

Once booked, the 4th (or 5th, or 6th, etc.) FP+ can be modified (as any other) using the app or website.

The 4th FP+ must be booked from a FP kiosk (under normal circumstances.)

But, there is/has been a "special test" during these recent few weeks (Spring Break/Easter)
where some guests (depending upon WHEN they booked their FP+) have been given the opportunity to book three advance FP+
AND, a random/arbitrary addition FORTH advance FP+ was "given" to them. (That arbitrary forth FP was able to be changed by the guest in the usual ways.)

That "test" is scheduled to end soon.

Some folks have reported that, when staying concierge level, the hotel concierge can book your 4th FP+ for you via text message or in person.

Can any magic band make reservations for the whole group at a kiosk? I am thinking about splitting up after our 3rd FP use and getting in several kiosk lines and the first up goes. Kind of like the old school FP runner. I can send the rest of the group to lunch and meet up.

Has anyone come up with wait times for the different kiosks throughout the day? We have it for rides, sounds like we may need one for kiosks.

If all the people are linked to the same mde as the magic band being scanned then yes one band can be used to make the 4th (and subsequent) fast passes for the group. Once made at the kiosk they can then be changed via the app-this applies to magic bands with a ticket-not sure how it works for "extra magic bands" some people use

The regular resort concierge booked our 4th for us in December. The kiosk lines were super long and we were heading back to the resort anyway, so I just had her book them for me. She seemed pretty excited about doing it, too.

Since Disney cannot figure out how to fix this mess they have created expect that the rules change daily. But it's okay, after all when it doesn't work Disney will just chant "testing"
