Disney related Baby Name for a girl.

I'm a fan of Aurora and Belle, which was mentioned a million times above, but I wanted to throw my 2 cents in too :flower:

Congratulations, be sure to tell us what you pick.

I will tell you the most beautiful name I've heard...and actually I didn't realize that both names were Disney related until looking at this thread. I am a teacher, and one of the most precious little girls at my school is named Liliane Aurora. I just think it's beautiful. As posted earlier, Liliane is Walt's wife's name, which I had not connected before. She spells it with one L and goes by Lili. Aurora of course is Sleeping Beauty. I think it is a beautful name and have it in my head as a possible name for my future daughter.

Friends of ours have a daughter named Aurora but they call her Rory...Very pretty.

Maybe it's kinda "out there" but what about Pixie? Depending on what resort you like (and I can't say because I've never stayed at this one) but Poly makes me think Polly every time I read it.

Just a warning about the name Aurora......

I don't know how many people like, dislike or hate Britney Spears, but as most of ya'll know she is pregnant. Admittedly, I used to be a huge fan and we have a mutual friend who went to college with her cousin. As most people know, she (Britney) is now 4 months pregnant. I have heard (from numerous sources) that she is seriously considering the name Aurora for a girl.

The reason I am posting this is because a lot of people seem to dislike B and I just wanted to throw that out there so no one names their baby this and then gets upset. Personally, I wouldn't care, but some people do. I like the name Aurora by the way! :wizard:

I vote for Belle or Aurora.

PLEASE don't name a child Pocahontas!!!! She will never live it down!!

I agree.....! Even shortening it to Pokey would be terribly wrong.... :rotfl:

I vote for Lilly Belle. My good friend has Lilly at the top of her list (also happen to be her grandmothers name). I think it also depends on how it sounds with the last name.
For my daughter I was going to name her Belle, at the last minute heard Ariana and thought it went better with Suzanne since I knew that was to be her middle name (named for two grandmas Susan and Anne) and once she was born we went with that instead. Just felt right.

You'll know when it all clicks together and just feels right.

Pocahontis is one of my favorite female Disney characters but I would not put that on the name list. Poky -- what a nickname to force on a kid.
