Can someone tell me how much the cups cost and how they work? We are staying at the AKL August 20th - 24th.

The mugs are right around $15 and can be used for free refills at your resort during your stay. If you are on a dining plan, they are included as a credit on your KTTW card and can be picked up at a counter service restaurant at your resort.

You can use the mugs for soda, coffee, or tea and can only be used only at the resorts, not at the parks. Our family has found them to be a good buy as we take them to the pool with us and refill there, as well as in the evenings before the food court closes. Plus as far as souvies go, this one can actually be used once you return home.

Do they all look the same or can you pick one you want?......... This is our 1st time staying onsite. Sorry for all the questions.

They are all basically the same design, but they come with colored handles/lids and currently you can choose between aqua, hot pink or black.

Unfortunately, no. They are only good for the resort/stay in which they were purchased.

I misread your question, so I am changing my answer. No, you can't bring them back and re-use them.

I was just at AKL and they have a very nice drink selection at the Mara. The Mara is located on floor one right next to the pool area.

They have coke products, 4 kinds of iced tea, coffee, and hot chocolate. It's a good value if you will be filling it more than once a day. Nice if you will be dining at the Mara often too since you can fill it up many times while dining there.

I'm not trying to open up a can of worms here, but are the mugs the same at all the resorts? When I go, I'm staying one night at BLT, 8 nights at BWV and 1 night at AKL, due to unavailability at BWV for my first and last nights. If I buy mugs when we get there at the BLT, will they know at the BWV that I didn't buy them there? I'm not asking if this is allowed as I know it technically isn't, but if it is obvious.

it is same colors designs property wide in resorts with exception of ALL star sports MAY still have differant colors. I had accidently packed old mug from last trip and it looked exactly like new one I got with dining plan this past trip.
