Disney Referral Question

We have a Disney visa in my husband's name with me as an authorized user on the account. He received the refer a friend offer and I'm wondering if he could refer me? That $200 bonus would add to our Disney budget. Thanks,

I am not sure of the answer to your first question as far as the referral benefit goes but I do know that you can both have your own account and still be authorized on each others. If its the referral where the friend gets a $200 gift card he can refer me lol we got an offer in the mail about a month ago for a $200 gift card for signing up for the basic Disney Visa. I threw it away like I do all CC offers but now wish I hadn't.

Thank you for clarifying this! We have the regular Disney Visa and got the postcards to refer friends. Husband asked if he could open an account in his name (current card is in my name; he's an authorized user). $200 gift card for the new account holder...that would help a lot a with a trip we'd love to take next summer! I know we can't post referral information here, but man I wish I could share this info. I would've loved $200 when I opened the account several years ago! I think I got a $50 statement credit back then.

Love the $200 enrollment bonus. You can usually get it applied over the phone even if you only received a $50 enrollment bonus initially.

Can you help me understand this? A few weeks ago DH just randomly applied over the internet for a Disney visa for the 50.00 bonus. In the meantime, a friend gave us the 200 code. Are you saying I can call chase and ask for the additional 150? thanks!

can't hurt to ask, especially where it sounds like he got the $200 code not long after applying for the card. a few years ago I signed up for a $100 gift card offer through a link I found here. Not long after I saw others were getting a $200 sign up offer so I e-mailed Chase and asked about getting the additional $100 and they gave me a $100 rewards credit, could not give a gift card.
