Disney Recalling Watches?

I didn't buy a watch back in November while we are at WDW, but my mom found this and I thought I would post it for anyone who might have.

My DH bought me a watch at WDW and it kept falling apart, so we finally had to return it. If I recall, it was around $100. It was a cosmetic problem, but a serious one.

There is another thread on the DIS somewhere about these watches, not sure which board.

A poster's son got burns from wearing this.

OMG, this just happened to my son with a Marvel Iron man watch. I even took pix bc I was so shocked. I need to contact that company.

I guess all their watches are junk, because I had one, it only cost around $40 but I loved, loved it and it fell apart recently and I took great care of it because I loved it so much~ at least nobody got hurt from it, that's way not cool that the recalled watches can be potentially harmful.
