Last Wednesday night, where I work we had a quiz night. I was one of the two question-masters and one of the three rounds I arranged was a Disney round. I thought the questions were fairly straightforward but no team scored more than 4!!

On Thursday morning I took some comments about how hard the questions were which I think is surprising as nearly every team has someone who had been to Disney in Florida recently.

Anyway, take a look and have a go and I'll post the answers in a few days (as if you need them!!)

David

1) What is the name of the new Disney film released in the States on 2nd of April this year?

2) What Disney film is the next film to be released in this country on DVD and video on 10 th May?

3) Which Disney film is being made into a live stage musical that premieres in London later this year?

4) What was Walt Disney's middle name?

5) What happened to Walt Disney's body after his death?

6) Which film was released first - "The Aristocats" or "Robin Hood"?

7) The Magic Kingdom and Epcot are two of the parks in Disney World, Florida - what are the other two?

8) What does E.P.C.O.T. stand for?

9) Who provided the voice for "Genie" in "Aladin"?

10) What is the middle name of "Donald Duck"?

Good luck!

My work-colleagues wished they had "Google".

Most teams had 3 correct.

Any more??

I will have a look at this tomorrow :) It looks a little hard though LOL

Crikey I thought this was quite tricky too! I'm stuck on number 10 though I have got a guess....I will wait for the answers!!

Thanks for posting it!

Karen

Sorry, back again.... just checked Google (I know it's cheating!) and I now know the answer to number 10. My guess was wrong though!

Although I've got a reputation as a Disney nut amongst family and friends, I'm more into WDW, its history (and that of Walt) than the films themselves, especially now my girls are older. I haven't got a clue about 1, 2, 3 or 6, although I do know the rest.

Having compiled a quiz for Saturday's SW DIS meet, I do know how hard it is to get the right degree of difficulty when setting the questions. Whilst you're doing it, they can seem too easy, but I guess they are when you've got the answer in front of you! Recognising a fact when you see it is not the same as being able to recall it.

Any more takers?

If not I'll post the answers over this weekend.

4) Elias

5) It was cremated

6) The Aristocats - in 1970

8) Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow

10) Fauntleroy

Best wishes

David

A popular (but nevertheless incorrect) urban myth.

His death certificate stated he had been cremated.
