I'm just curious to see how good the DISers really are.

Try these on for size:

What are the original nine world showcases?

What were the last two world showcasess in the order they were added? (why do I always think there are 12 countries in the world showcases??? Don't know where I pulled that info from, but from the 4 sites I visited, I counted 11 each time. Maybe I looked at the INTERNATIONAL GATEWAY and counted it not thinking. )

How many ORIGINAL attractions did the Magic Kingdom have when it opened in 1971?(just a number, you don't have to list the attractions. I'll do that when I give the answers.)

Was the Living Seas an original exhibit at EPCOT?

Test Track, Rock-N-Rollercoaster, and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh all arrived the same year...what was it?

Was the Grand Floridian around when Disney opened in 1971?

Before it was the Shades of Green, what was the name of the hotel?

Not counting Pop Century, what was the last resort to open in Disney and what year was it?

What day, month, and year did the Animal Kingdom open?

What was the first water park to open and what year?

What year did Walt Disney announce what we know now as Project X?

I've got TONS more, but see how you do here. I will post answers later.
;)

OK having 2nd thoughts on DAK and Living Seas. Not sure on the date of DAK, but it was earth day whenever that was. I think Living Seas opened shortly after the park's opening.

Shades of Green... it's something really simple like "The Disney Hotel"

ETA: OH so close! I had to look that last one up; it was driving me nuts. I rode the Vista Way van by that place every day when I worked there in '92! :headache: {banging head} I'll leave it up for someone else since I cheated.

come on gang....any others before I post answers. KathyFP has had the most correct answers

I didn't look at any of the other answers so I wouldn't be biassed. Here are the answers I know and some of the best guesses I could think of:

What are the original nine world showcases?: Canada, United Kingdom, France, Japan, American Adventure, Italy, Germany, China, Mexico

What were the last two world showcasess in the order they were added?: Morocco and Norway

How many ORIGINAL attractions did the Magic Kingdom have when it opened in 1971?(just a number, you don't have to list the attractions. I'll do that when I give the answers.): Depends on what you call an attraction. Does the Penny Arcade or Main Street Cinema count? I'm going to guess 24.

Was the Living Seas an original exhibit at EPCOT?: Nope.

Test Track, Rock-N-Rollercoaster, and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh all arrived the same year...what was it?: 1999

Was the Grand Floridian around when Disney opened in 1971?: Nope

Before it was the Shades of Green, what was the name of the hotel?: The Golf Resort (and the Disney Inn after than)

Not counting Pop Century, what was the last resort to open in Disney and what year was it?: Animal Kingdom Lodge in 2001 (I'm guessing you're counting the Beach Club Villas as the same resort as the Beach Club)

What day, month, and year did the Animal Kingdom open?: April 18, 1998 (I know it's Earth Day, but can't remember what day Earth Day is)

What was the first water park to open and what year?: River Country in 1973?

What year did Walt Disney announce what we know now as Project X?: 1965, I think.

ETA is "edited to add." The "last one" I was talking about was the Shades of Green question that I had just mentioned. It was driving me nuts because I couldn't remember the name of it though I rode up to its front door 5 days a week for 4.5 months straight.

What's weird is I totally overlooked the first two questions, and I knew those!

I finally looked up the Living Seas, too. I was really surprised at how late it opened. I thought for sure it was there on my first trip in '83. Nope.

More! More! More!
