Disney Quick Service Dining Plan Questions

I have a few questions about the quick service dining and the meal plans.

We arrive on a Thursday night and then will be at MK on Friday and Saturday, and DTD on Sunday.

So do I get the meal plan for all 4 days? Do the snacks or meals "bank" themselves if they are not used? If I get in too late on Thursday night to use the plan, could I use it for breakfast and lunch before leaving on Monday?

Thanks so much, this is our first trip, with DS who is 3, and we are working on our plans. Your thoughts are much appreciated!

On the Quick Service Dining Plan you receive a free refillable mug (that you can get at your resort food court), 2 snack credits, and 2 counter service credits per person, per night of your stay. If you are staying 3 nights each person will have 6 snack credits and 6 counter service credits. The credits are front loaded on your card, so all of your credits will on your card when you check in. The credits will expire midnight of the day you check out. You can use them however you see fit. Hope this helps!!

If your first night is a room-only ressie, you will not have dining credit plans for that day. They won't start until the day your park tickets start, but you will be able to use them on the day you check out.

When we went last year, we had a room only for Saturday, with our park tickets starting on Sunday. So, on Saturday, we went to DTD for dinner and paid OOP. When we checked out on the following Saturday, we had already used all our QS and TS credits, but had tons of snack credits left over, which we used at POP's food court to get an assortment of snack items (side salad, yogurt, etc.) for lunch before taking the ME back to the airport.

As long as you are booked as all one reservation, it doesn't matter how many days of park passes you have. We always arrive on Friday & stay 8 nights. Since it is a 16-hour drive, we don't go to any parks on our arrival day. We buy 7 day hoppers but, since we stay 8 nights, we have 8 TS, 8 CS, & 8 snacks per person on the regular dining plan.

Sorry my info was incorrect - I was going by what we were told and what we experienced last year. I forgot we added an extra day to the beginning of our reservation, so that day wound up being a separate room-only reservation. The older I get, the more I forget. ;)

Thank you so much, this is very helpful. I was hoping to be able to use a meal on the day we leave for breakfast and some snacks.

Thanks so much!
