Disney Quest

Has anyone been to Disney Quest? What age do you think it would be good for? Is there an admissions fee? Does each and every ride/game/interative item require money? We have enough electronic games at home, so I don't want to go to Disney and end up spending a ton of money at an arcade (although I am sure it is far better than an arcade - I did not mean to insult anyone on that).

Thanks for any input and/or opinions on the matter.

There is a price for admission ($27 for adults, $21 for children) but it is included in the UPH. More information is on her site. We have never been there but plan on hitting it with my DS who will be 7 during our trip. Normally I wouldn't pay for this but we have UPH so I figured that we should try it out. Good luck!

All the games are included in the cost of admission. There are all sorts of games, asteroid bumper cars, create your own roller coaster simulator, old fashion arcade/pac man, berserk etc, alot of physical activity type/simulator games where you wear head gear to "see" the action and have to swipe your "sword" around in the air. Very fun!!! The kids will love it. It's not at all a video Arcade in the way us old folks might think of..although they do have the good ol games FOR FREE..my husband loved that!

There is a ride/game for just about any age group. I really enjoyed it.

Last time we were there, the only games for which you had to pay extra where games that you won tickets, which could be traded in on trinkets/prizes. There are a ton of games that are included in the cost of admission. If you go, don't miss Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blaster - it is the best time ever, and you can have 2 in a car. As for an age range, there are some games the 5 and under set can do (soccer ball kicking game, horseriding game, some others) but other than a couple that have height restrictions it is 5 floors of fun, and some really good snack bars.

I was very surprised and impressed with DQ. I too thought it was just an arcade. When it's too hot or rainy, DQ is a perfect alternative to the parks. I have Dh and 2 DS's and they did not want to leave.

Lots of family together virtual rides and oldie video games and internet cafe. The place is huge and we visited twice our last trip!

The Cheesecake Factory Cafe had the best pizza ever! Desserts were great too. The Internet Cafe was great for me to catch up on the dis and email. We learned how to draw Mickey Mouse and Pirates of the Caribbean was hilarious fun!

I read somewhere about designing your own toy that you can purchase. Has anyone done this? Any idea of the cost?
