I am going to disney for four day and want to do all four parks. Is Disney quest worth trying get it  . Is it better then the average game room. The girls will be 13 at time of travel. I am so excited to get to disney and want to get everything in. We are not going till March 2007. Is there a book that you can reccomend that is worth buying that will help me get through this park and not miss anything. Thank you. This is my second post and the people were great with my first. thank you, Fran

Personally, on a four-day trip, I would not take the time to do Disney Quest unless it is pouring rain (and in which case DQ will be crowded, since it's very popular on rainy days...). Don't get me wrong -- DQ is a lot of fun and I think 13-year-olds would have a blast, but with everything else there is to do with your time and with getting to all four parks, I would recommend skipping in this time.

Agreed. DQ is fun and certainly much better than your average game room but with 4 days I would stick to the major parks. I would even recommend a Water Park before DQ.

DQ is great but I would only go there on a 5-day or longer trip.

People here seem to dislike DQ but I kind of like it. If you or your kids like video games, then by all means, go and have a blast. If you are not much of a gamer, then skip it.

Disney Quest is open till 11 PM (or somewhere around that time)
It does not open the doors in the morning till 11:30 AM
Discount tickets:

You can buy Adult (ages 10 and up) DQ tickets for $29 each from the website.
We bought them and they came in 2 weeks. Very reliable company.
DQ Adult normaly cost $37.28

To do DQ - Go to AK one early morning entry day. Do what ever rides and get out by 1 pm (have lunch at Tusker House, FLame Tree, or RFC)

Then either drive to DTD West Side for DQ (if you have a car) - or
take to bus to AKL (closest resort) and then a bus to DTD West Side from AKL (plan on 1 hour of traveling)

You will be at DQ by 2:30 PM and have most of the afternoon to yourself there - locals come by after 5 PM -

Unless it is raining as stated above, DQ is a place for people to have fun while it's raining outside - so it will be packed by 1 PM. Just think of places kids go to when it is bad weather at home - movies, game rooms, malls,....

I would plan a full day at MGM Studio's, MK & EPCOT.

For age 13 kids at AK - skip boneyard & character huts - pick what they would really like to do... Everst (FP), Lion King Show, Safari (FP), Kali River Rapids, Tough to be a Bug

My husband and sons love it so much that they go there several times during our vacation. But if we were only at Disney for 4 days, then I may make them skip it.

Lots of fun things to do there and if you have more time next vacation, I would defiently give it a try.
