Disney Quest - Worth taking time from parks?

Thanks everyone - I purchased advance tickets from Ticketmania so we'll save some $$$. It sounds like it's worth trying once - we'll go early and maybe end the day with Cirque (more $$$)!

We were at WDW in December with my 12 yr old son. When asked to list his top ten favorites of the trip, Disney Quest was one of them!
He had an absolute blast! I also went with him and did some of the adventures with him (Pirates of the Carribean being our favorite).
He never played any of the games that cost extra. He even met a boy his own age to hang out with which was wonderful for me. I went outside and listened to the band playing at House of Blues.

::yes::

We just returned from WDW and had a blast at DQ !! We may not have tried it had we not had the UPHP, but they are open till Midnight on the Weekends, so it was great to experience it after the other parks closed or we were just tired.

A MUST DO is the Virtual Roller Coaster. You get to create your own coaster and then ride it in a simulator like Mission Space.
We loved that! Also Pirates of the Carribean and the Jungle Cruise- Rapids ride.

We are 39 and 45 and loved it totally! We were the only older kids there at the time :hyper:

Our Family (DW, DH, DD 16, DS 15)
veterans of 20+ WDW vacations
rank Disney Quest ahead of the
major parks.
