Wondering if we parents should send Dad and the two oldest boys (8, and almost 7) to Disney Quest while Mom and the 4 1/2 year old try other things around town. Or, will the 4 1/2 year old enjoy DQ, too?

I have a 5 1/2 year old. We were there the last three years. She really enjoys it. Although there are things she can not do yet, she likes the Pirates of Caribbean, the jungle cruise, living easels, drawing lessons and the magic carpet ride.

We separated with our kids with DisneyQuest. I took DS and DH stayed back and took his little sisters to the pool and such while we were at Disneyquest. My girls are not really into video games, so my middle girl who is 9 still has not ventured into DisneyQuest.

If you don't have to pay extra for admission to DisneyQuest with your tickets, then you could try it out and if your youngest does not like it, you won't feel like you are wasting your money there. It is five stories of noisy games/computers/virtual realty things/ etc. It is also kind of dark in there, also. I would only do that if my child was a true lover of video games. Also, there will be a lot your youngest could not even do because of height restrictions.

I think most of the game will be above the 4.5 yr old. The older kids would like it, but the younger one could be easily frustrated. Even PoTC would be difficult of the younger one. And there are not that many magic easels, etc, for the younger one to get one and be able to make it work. Take the little one over to Once Upon a Toy for the time or over to FW to the petting zoo.
