our package comes with tickets to these. anyone have opinions on them? I can't imagine mini golf being as fun as the parks but then again it is Disney. We've never done Quest because it wasn't in our budget

Even though the tickets were part of our package we never planned on going to Disney Quest. However, it rained and rained our whole trip and we went. We had a much better time than I imagined and we are two 30-something adults. Kids would have a blast. You could spend as much or as little time there as you wish, I believe your pass is good all day.

I know my boyfriend wanted to go golfing, but the rain just kept coming and we never had the opportunity. I think this is something you do if you have the desire and opportunity to do so. We didn't feel cheated that we didn't use the passes.

We also have free mini golf vouchers in our travel package, and we doubt we'll use them. There is so much we want to do at the parks, and if we're going to take a break, it will probably be somewhere indoors and air conditioned. But you never know...we're bringing those vouchers just in case!

We love Disney Quest. I liked it before we had kids, and we like it even more now. My kids are 9, 8, and 2 and they had a blast. We have a premium annual pass right now, so that's how we got in.

As for minigolf, I've done the winter/summerland and the Fantasia one. It's a nice cooler night activity, slower and a change of pace. We don't often do it because of the extra expense, but it's fun.

Can you offer your tickets to someone if you're not going to use them? I often give stuff to people like that, although sometimes they think I'm a crazy person, lol!

I love giving free stuff to people. I'd give out fast passes we'd gotten too tired to use. So I would definitely do that with the mini golf. We would only do that if we were super bored because I only have sight in one eye so I really suck at mini golf, it would take all day, lol. But that's good to her Quest is fun, thanks

We done DQ and both mini golf courses. Fantasia wasn't as interactive as the winter/summer land one. We like DQ we have notice that in the past couple years maintenance has gone down hill there, but still fun and has some unique experiences.

if we are at DTD anyways we will often stop in to dq. We walk around and play a few things but the bit I like the best is their coffee shop. they have the best cupcakes.
last time I went to wdw on my own I stopped in to dq the night before I was to go home and picked up 6 to bring home to dh. they were a snack credit each and I had lots of those left.
but back on topic.....do take a peek in. its free with your package and i'm sure at some point you will be at dtd. you may find its really enjoyable.

We LOVED Quest - went twice for a few hours - one night and one non-Disney day rainy afternoon on our trip, the design your own roller coaster (simulator) is AWESOME. It was September there was no lines

We also did Winter Summerland on a non-park day - I think we did it after Blizzard Beach??? We had a great time.

We Loved the parks of course, we also loved doing other things too!

Our trip was much more than Disney with...
2 Waterpark days ( one each)
4 park Days
2 Universal Days
Nasa / Cocoa Beach Day
Swap Tour / Tampa Bay Buccaneers Football Game Day (this was our rainy mid-day day)

Your package will only include vouchers for 2 people for miniature golf and 2 people for DQ. If your party is bigger than that, you'll end up paying for the others to participate. The miniature golf vouchers must be used prior to 4 PM.

Are they strict about the 4pm cutoff time? I was thinking about using ours arrival night when we aren't doing parks but there's no way we'll make it over there before 4.

You can no longer give them away, the vouchers are now on your magic band. I have a ten day ticket with the More on it and we would use my ticket and my dh used the vouchers. We love golfing the Fantasia-very challenging and it can take 2 hours.

I took my kids to DisneyQuest and Minigolf (both OOP) and they absolutely loved both! We did DisneyQuest on our last day and we were almost late leaving to go home! They had a blast with the old school games and the nice interactive games (the pirate ship and riverboat were both a HUGE success!). I thought they would be bummed that we weren't at a park but I think they had just as much fun.

Minigolf is well themed. We did each park once. It is worth doing them if its not scorching hot outside. I felt like I was melting when we went to Winter Summerland in July/August.

We haven't been in a few years. But when we went, if you got the park hopper plus DQ was included. They didn't really advertise it. Don't know if it's changed since then.

Anyway, it was super cold when we went in Dec.. We had a great time at DQ and we would definitely do it again.

Yes, they're pretty strict on it. The golf becomes more popular in the evening, so Disney doesn't need to offer any incentives to get people in after 4 PM.
