Disney purging double ADR's

While calling Disney to change aa ADR, the cm that I was speaking with noticed that I had two reservations for the same night (forgot to cancel one of them). She informed me that becuase of the recent increase in ADR's being made, Disney was getting ready to purge the double reservations.

I don't know if this means that are preparing to purge just one of the ADR's or both, but people may want to cancel there conflicting reservation ASAP.

I booked one ADR and then called to change it. The CM said, "You know that you'll have to cancel the first one you made b/c you can't have two ADR's for one night." She was actually kindof rude about it like I was trying to cheat or something. I was going to do that during my telephone call with her anyway, but I was booking the 2nd one before cancelling the 1st ADR.

how does this work with families that split up? anyone know?

use different phone numbers. they'll never know. but they do use caller id to identify you.

We split up all the time and have 2 ADRs for each night often. Hope this isn't really true--we always have our confirmation numbers with us & call to confirm. Yikes!
