I was thinking of proposing to my girlfriend at our upcoming trip to WDW in June. We are eating at the Brown Derby for the Fantasmic package. What sort of things can they do there to help me propose to my GF?

This was one option i thought of. The other thoughts was perhaps during Illuminations or maybe on the beach at the Coronado Springs one night (that's where we are staying).

Why not tell her your heading out to get a bite to eat and set up a picnic for the two of you? You could always write "Marry Me" in the sand....

I just got engaged at Cinderella's Royal Table. Let me say this- They know how to do it! It was wonderful. While it does cost a little extra it was well worth it. I can send you pictures if you would like to see what they do. Just worked for me. Good luck with everything and congrats!

Thanks for the tip. I have heard of things they will do at the California Grill or Cindy's table but we are not eating there so I was just curious if they can do similar things at Brown Derby. Do they do something with a dessert maybe? Yes i'd like to see the pictures if possible. And it's not definite that i'm proposing, just getting ideas right now. :)

We arrived @ the MK with our goal to try & make it to every ride in the park. So my Darling Finance heads over to customer service to pickup our tickets. Little did I know this was going to be a very memorable evening of our engagement. Well he was given a map with an "X" on it and was told be at this special location for an magical evening with Cinderella in her court. I assume they were putting on some type of play/presentation. However, DF was looking at the wrong map/directions, and had us over by the spinning teacups. By this time I was furious, because not only we were going to miss the presentation, the park was going to close in 2hrs. We still had a bunch of rides yet to experience. So I'm upset, and in tears, feeling as though we wasted most of our evening looking for this "X" location. He's trying to calm me down, and kept asking me, "Do you trust me?" he kept repeating this, until finally I said "YES". So by this time he realized we were in the wrong location. We then made a beeline straight for the castle. At this point there was no one there in the Rose Garden except 2 employees, and a Red Heart shaped love seat.. (Only Disney can set it up this good)....box of Truffles, in the shape of Mickey ears of course, beautiful vase with long stem roses...and a Crystal Cake topper with our names engraved on it. So he leads me down to the love-seat and proposes, of course at this point I'm bawling. He's very traditional so he gets down on 1 knee and of course I said yes. .

OMG...That is awesome! Do you have pictures?
