I have three boys so princesses are never a topic on our trips, but I'm helping a friend plan for her trip and she has a 2yr old and 4yr old girls. They will probably only do 2 or 3 parks. What is the best way to see the princesses?? Where are the character spots and how early should they get there? I know CRT is out of the question, but is there a chance for any other princess dining a few days out? (ha ha....)

All the sudden I feel clueless. Any help would be great. I have subscription to TGM, UG, and Ridemax, and have the UG book. Can I find help in any of that related to princess strategies?

We saw all the princesses besides Cinderella at Epcot. They each are in the countries. She can try calling the dining number to get a cancellation. If she decided on Epcot she can try walking upto Askerhaus early and see if they have any openings that day...she will have to be flexible. The other option is In toontown at the MK...we waited in line to see cinderella, Aurora and Belle. But we saw more in Epcot.

Do a character meal. The Castle is very hard to get - probably even harder now that the booking window is 90 days instead of 180. You'd have to cal onthe morning that your first trip day is 90 days (if onsite) and ask for a morning later in your trip - more or less.

The food at Akershus doesn't appeal to me much.

My preference for a princess meal is 1900 Park Fare. Combine it with an evening in Fantasyland. A ride on the carrousel in full princess gown is a fantastic picture op. If she's going after Halloween - getting a gown is easy. Before then - try a big box store or DIsney online clearance. Either way, the gown can double up as this year's Halloween costume. If she's handy - the big box fabirc stores also sell Disney dress patterns! IF none of those appeal -hairbows and a Princess t-shirt will work. (I also like glitter hairspray as 'pixie dust.' Try a party store!)

Otherwise, well, our family doesn't wait in long character lines. We've been enough times that we aren't pressed about any certain characters, and we DO know our way around WDW...but typically, if you aren't super particular - over a week you WILL see opportunities to get autographs when the lines are not long. I DID get sucked in to waiting 45minutes onlour last trip to see Tinkerbell's Pixie Hollow (Go early inthe am, if it's a priority. I also suspect that PIxie Hollow won't be there forever, so see it while you can.) Interestingly enough, since Pixie Hollow was the new thing - the princess line in Tootown was actually rather short! If it had been up to me I would have bailed for the other line!

WDW is also always about priorities. Character lines are often short when ride lines are also short -early morning and late night hours. SO you have to pick your priorities.

You will find most of the princess in Epcot, Belle in France, Snow White in Germany, Mulan in China, Jasmine in Morrocco.

Also, you can find Belle, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty (usually) in toontown and Jasmine by Aladdin's Magic Carpets in MK.

She can try to get a meal at Akershus, it should be a little easier than CRT.

You covered those pretty well. I will add Pocahantas at AK. She can be found at either her old theater near Camp Minnie-Mickey or Conservation Station. I have also seen her out in front of the park.

We did the princess storybook breakfast this morning at Epcot - expensive but so worth it! We saw Belle, Cinderella, Ariel, Sleeping Beauty and Snow White. DD was beside herself! I would absolutely recommend this (even though the food was not great).

We saw Snow White (5 min wait) when entering MK. Ariel (15 min) at her Grotto, Jasmine with Aladdin (5 min) behind the flying carpets and Belle, Cinderella and Aurora (20 min) in Toontown. :goodvibes
Don't know if we just lucked out to see them all.

The princess line at Toontown has been fairly fast lately, you usually can see Cinderella there maybe Belle.
We did Epcot in March for the first time, We saw Snow White walked up to her, Jasmine, same thing maybe 3 people waiting, Belle, and Aurora.

They had Mary Poppins in UK but we had already saw her and Alic at Magic Kingdom.
