I know this is not a tip or strategy but I wasn't sure where to put this thread. Moderators; if you need to, please move to another board where it would get exposure yet fit in appropriately.
We are going on our first Disney World Trip later this year and my 5 year old daughter is obssessed with Disney Princesses. I know we will be spending the bulk of our Disney trip hunting down every Princess available.
I want to make her birthday in June a Disney Princess theme party in preparation for our trip.
I was wanting to know if it's frowned upon by Disney for companies to advertise that a Disney Princess such as Belle, Ariel, Cinderella, etc. can be hired to come to your child's party? I'm looking at a company that says it will send a Disney Princess in full costume to sing, read and perform at your party (for a price of course). They even say they have a "Story Time With Belle" package offered. They are in Wisconsin.
Is this considered trademark infringement? I mean it has to be a legal issue with Disney I would think unless Disney authorizes it, correct?
I don't want to get in trouble for someone who is not authorized by Disney to come to my home and do this.
Just wondering if Disney has an official part of the business that does anything like this?
